Grundsätzlich sind alle LGA1155 Sandy-Bridge CPUs kompatibel zum ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe. Wer jedoch seinen Prozzi möglichst weit übertakten möchte,
der kommt an einem Modell mit dem Zusatz "K" im Namen nicht vorbei. Denn auschliesslich diese lassen einen höheren "Turbomulti" zu. Modelle ohne "K"
besitzen einen festen maximalen "Turbomulti" und sind daher für OC ungeeignet, da der Referenztakt nur von 100MHz auf maximal 105-110MHz
erhöht werden kann (kommt sonst zu Instabilitäten!).

Nach 1 Woche hast du dich wahrscheinlich eh dran gewöhnt und nimmst es nich mehr wahr ;-)

Hatte gehofft, dass du in den entsprechenden Reviews auch immer mal ein Konkurrenzprodukt bei den Messungen findest. Einfach mal etwas auf die Suche gehen.

Dann etwas anderes: Habe mir gerade mal den FanExpert und die AISuite II installiert und bin schockiert, wie viel leiser ich meine Kiste gerade gemacht habe. Die Noiseblocker laufen jetzt Idle mit 400RMP statt vorher 800RPM. Nutzt ihr die Software? Hatte im BIOS schon alles auf Silent, das scheint aber nicht im Ansatz so silent zu sein, wie mit dem Desktopprogramm. Kann man es mit den manuellen Settings im BIOS ähnlich gut hinbekommen?

Ich bin immer eher gegen Hintergrundprogramme, deswegen die Frage, mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Also ich benutze die Steuerung über Fan Expert und bin seit ich meine -400Umin Lüfter ausgewechselt habe die nicht kompatible sind, sehr zufrieden das System ist flüsterleise, trotz 2x 23cm,3 x 12cm Lüfter. Das die Asus Software andere Temparaturwerte anzeig als andere Programme ist doch normal, bei mir bewegt sich die Differenz bei 2-15 Grad je nach anwendungsprofil.

Einfach den Speaker anbziehen, ist ein etwas größerer Stecker mit 4 Pins bei denen aber nur 2 belegt sind. Passiert nichts weiter.

Bei meinem Gehäuse gibts keinen Speaker mehr. Anscheinend verzichten die Gehäusehersteller (in meinem Fall Corsair) neuerdings darauf. Hat mir am Anfang irgendwie gefehlt der Piepser, aber man gewöhnt sich an die Stille...

Ja, die meisten Hersteller verbauen keine Speaker mehr - in den meisten Fällen ist aber so ein kleiner Speaker zum aufstöpseln beigelegt (http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4315/speakeril8.jpg).

@Draugen Ob das Raven2 Speaker hat kann ich dir nicht beantworten. Aber du wirst doch wohl wissen ob du an den Front Panel Anschlüssen den Speaker drann gemacht hast.

Bei meinem letzten Gehäuse war, wie auf dem Bild von keynex, ein Speaker beigelegt. In einem anderen Gehäuse (Lian Li) befand sich der Speaker unter den FP-Käfigen. Ohne Speaker kann man auch die Bios-Pieptöne, wenn was faul ist, nicht hören.
Es gibt zwar noch die Onboard-LEDs die Fehler anzeigen, aber die befinden sich bei mir in einer "Dunkelkammer". Ein Blick über die seitlichen Lüftungsgitter zu den LEDs ist auch nicht vollständig möglich.
Die Pieptöne machen also schon Sinn. Man beachte, die Pieptöne werden vom Mobo ausgelöst und über einen Speaker (Fremdlieferung) ausgegeben.
Ist der Ton dermaßen nervig würde ich eher den Speaker austauschen als ihn stilllegen.

Kann sein, dass beim Raven2 so ein Aufstöpselspeakerchen dabei war. Wenn, dann wußte ich leider nichts damit anzufangen und habs wohl weggeschmissen. Aber ihr habt recht, für Fehlerdiagnose ist das natürlich sehr schlecht...

hat eigentlich noch jemand das Problem, das das Board bei geringer CPU Last "pfeift"? Es hört sich ähnlich wie Festplattenzugriffe an.

Im Idle/unter Last ist es sofort weg. Kommt scheinbar nur bei leichter CPU Last.

Also das Seasonic 660 ist eigentlich noch recht neu, daran sollte es nicht liegen. Beim X58 hat es ja auch keine Geräusche gemacht und es kommt definitiv von Richtung Mainboard/CPU.

Besonders krass ist es zB. beim Start vvon (aber auch nur solange es lädt) Max Payne 3. Da ist es wahrscheinlich im nächsten Raum noch zu hören.

Wenn ich jetzt aber vor dem Start Prime starte kommt es nicht, da die CPU voll ausgelastet ist. Liegt also definitiv irgendwie am Board.

Kann ich bestätigen, habe auch länger nach der Quelle gesucht. Interessant das es noch jemandem so geht, dachte eigentlich erst die Graka und das ich das davor nicht so gehöhrt habe da meine Lüfter extrem laut waren. Bei Bf3 z. B. garnicht, bei Max Payne 3 ist es aber sehr extrem.

Sowas hab ich auch. Klingt wie Festplattenzugriff. Und ich hab mich schon gewundert, dass die Platten plötzlich Geräusche machen.

Fiept bei mir auch etwas, hab ein AX850 (gefertigt von Seasonic, gleiche Serie wie Deines). Kann also schon mit dem Netzteil zusammen hängen. Da man es nicht aus dem geschlossenen Gehäuse hört habe ich mich aber damit abgefunden.

Hat noch Jemand das Problem im Uefi die Gehäuselüfter nicht unter 60% regeln zu können? Immer wenn ich z.B. 30 eingebe bringt er mir ungültige Eingabe. Beim CPU Lüfter (4-pin) funktioniert alles von 0-100.
Aber mit ~1000 rpm sind die Gehäuselüfter derzeit viel zu laut.. ich installier gerade mal die Software und hoffe ich kann mir damit zumindest etwas helfen aber eine feste Uefi Einstellung wäre mir lieber.

Edit: Okay mit der Software kann man die Lüfter problemlos regeln.. seltsam, dann muss ich die wohl installiert lassen.

Jetzt bleibt nur noch das Problem, dass das Board die WLAN Antenne nicht mehr erkennen will. Hab seit dem Neueinbau richtig schlechten Empfang.. 2 Striche bei einer Entfernung von 2.5 m zum Router.

Bei mir klingt das Geräusch eher nach so nem dunklen Grummeln. Wie festplattenzugriff halt.

Was die Gehäuselüfter angeht, meine laufen zur Zeit mit ca. 300U/min. Vielleich sind deine nicht auf geringere Minimalumdrehungen ausgelegt.

Wie gesagt, bei mir fiept nix, sondern es grummelt wie bei nem Festplattenzugriff. Vielleicht ist es aber wirklich eine der beiden Platten, die ich höre. Nachdem ich den Boxedlüfter gegen den TR True Spirit getauscht hab, ist der Rechner verdammt leise geworden. Vielleicht habe ich die Festplattenzugriffe vorher wegen dem Lüfter nicht gehört.

Bios Einstellungen sind die Standardsettings und mit BIOS-Version 0906 und 1206 macht es keinen Unterschied. Kann jemand ähnliches berichten? Oder ist etwas bei mir defekt?

Hab die Kombi. Zock gerade Max Payne 3, da läuft er mit 850 rpm. Idle kann ich später mal schauen. Installier dir die Ai Suite und schau da mal drüber.

Vielleicht braucht der KÜhler nicht mehr. Meine Lüfter läuft unter Last auch nicht mit 1100 U/min. Sondern ca. mit 900.

Mit der AI Suite Fan kann ich den Lüfter regeln, aber Silent, Standard und Turbo sind bei mir alle 550RPM, sobald ich auf Full Speed klicke, dreht er erst auf 1250RPM.

Ich habe auch das Problem. Wollte eigentlich die Gehäuselüfter über das MB BIOS regeln. Habe Silent Wings 2 verbaut und mit der AI Software läuft es problemlos.
Warum funktioniert das nicht mit dem BIOS? Egal ob ich Silent, Turbo oder Standard wähle, immer wird die gleiche Drehzahl von ca. 1000rpm angezeigt, auch beim CPU Lüfter.
Will ASUS hier einen zwingen die Software zu benutzen oder an was kann das liegen?

Lieber leise bei 65 °C als hörbar bei 55 °C, sind doch beides noch unkritische Werte, selbst bei einem AMD. Ansonsten wie vorgeschlagen mal auf den manuellen Modus stellen und die Temperaturgrenzen anpassen.
