Grundsätzlich sind alle LGA1155 Sandy-Bridge CPUs kompatibel zum ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe. Wer jedoch seinen Prozzi möglichst weit übertakten möchte,
der kommt an einem Modell mit dem Zusatz "K" im Namen nicht vorbei. Denn auschliesslich diese lassen einen höheren "Turbomulti" zu. Modelle ohne "K"
besitzen einen festen maximalen "Turbomulti" und sind daher für OC ungeeignet, da der Referenztakt nur von 100MHz auf maximal 105-110MHz
erhöht werden kann (kommt sonst zu Instabilitäten!).

Die frage ist nur falls du die Profiles speicher könntest auf den usb stick, ob man die dann mit neuen Bios aufspielen könnte. Vieleicht wären die dann gar nicht mehr compatible

Ja, daran hab ich auch gedacht. Bei meinem alten 775 Asus Board konnte man Profile auf USB Stick oder Diskette speichern, nach Bios Update Profile neu laden war kein Problem.

@Berky Irgendwo im P67/Z68 Thread hab ich mal gelesen das die Profile nicht kompatibel sein sollen und es nach einem Update zu Fehlern kommen kann, wenn man es so macht.


Gerade das Bios geflasht - mein Windows fährt nun viel schneller hoch.
Mit 1015 ist die Win7 Animation noch komplett angezeigt worden - und jetzt bin ich bereits ab der hälfte schon auf meinem Desktop.

Mein Prolimatech Genesis ist gestern angekommen. Hab mir auch schonmal die Backplate und deren Montage laut Anleitung angeschaut. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die beiliegende Intel Plate keine Isolierung/Schaumstoff oder ähnliches auf der zum Motherboard zeigenden Seite hat. Das ebenfalls beiliegende Teil (das wie ein Dia-Rahmen aussieht) welches solche Eigenschaften hätte, soll ja nur für LGA775 sein (deshalb werde ich es nicht verwenden). Hat denn das ASUS Motherboard auf der Unterseite in Höhe des Prozessors, wo man die Backplate installiert, keine stromführenden Teile oder ist es so gut isoliert/geschützt, dass durch eine nicht isolierte Backplate nichts passieren kann? Wobei ich sagen muss das die Metallbackplate des Genesis, immerhin schwarz lackiert ist. Oder "drückt" die Backplate gar nicht direkt aufs Board weil sie von den 4 Befestigungsschrauben auf Abstand gehalten wird?

Wenn du genau hinguckst, wirst du sehen, dass es dort nur einen USB 3.0 TREIBER gibt. Der Rest sind Firmwares oder eben der Treiber für den ESATA. Du brauchst also: Version 1.14.8.0 Pour Windows Xp/Vista/7 32/64bits

Gibt es wirklich keine Möglichkeit, die BIOS-Einstellungen nach einem Update mit einem Klick wieder einzulesen?

Gerade das Bios geflasht - mein Windows fährt nun viel schneller hoch.
Mit 1015 ist die Win7 Animation noch komplett angezeigt worden - und jetzt bin ich bereits ab der hälfte schon auf meinem Desktop.
Ähnliche Beobachtungen?

Habe heute Vormittag das BIOS 1206 auf mein Deluxe geflasht. Bei mir hat sich aber am Startverhalten meines PCs nichts geändert. Dauert ca. 48s vom Moment des Drückens des Einschaltknopfes bis zum ersten erscheinen des Desktops.
Auch sonst sind mir kaum größere Änderungen aufgefallen.

Was vielleicht noch zu erwähnen ist, das ich eine UEFI Installation habe.
Der Cursor, der sonst beim booten durch uefi kurz vor Windows immer links oben aufgeblinkt ist, ist mit der 1206 nun bei mir in der mitte vom Bildschirm. Also hat sich da wohl irgendwas geändert.

Sonst hab ich rein garnichts geändert - kann mir das nicht erklären. Jedenfalls bin ich froh das es so ist.

Ich wollt mir gerade die neusten USB 3.0 Treiber fürs Deluxe laden.. welcher Asmedia Chip ist da verbaut? ASMEDIA drivers & firmwares

Wenn du genau hinguckst, wirst du sehen, dass es dort nur einen USB 3.0 TREIBER gibt. Der Rest sind Firmwares oder eben der Treiber für den ESATA. Du brauchst also: Version 1.14.8.0 Pour Windows Xp/Vista/7 32/64bits

Hallo, ich hab mal alle relevanten Zusatzchips vom P8Z77-V-Deluxe rausgesucht:

USB3.0: Asmedia 1042
LAN: Realtek 8111F + Intel 82579V
Audio: Realtek ALC898
SATA 6: Marvell 9128 + Asmedia 1061

Funktioniert bei euch, mit dem Bios 1205 für das P8Z77-V, die PS/2 Combo noch? Habe meine Maus an dem Anschluss und die tut es jetzt darüber nicht mehr.
Vielleicht kann es ja mal jemand testen.

edit: wenn ich ins Bios gehe funktioniert die Maus auf einmal wieder, auch unter Windows. Fahre ich den PC herunter und starte ihn neu, ohne vorher ins Bios zu gehen, funktioniert sie im Windows nicht mehr. Mysteriös...

Hier schreiben ja einige, dass man bei der Installation nicht die beiliegende ASUS-DVD nutzen sollte, sondern lieber auf die teilweise neueren Treiber der ASUS Support Seite oder direkt bei Herstellern (Intel, Realtek,...) greifen sollte.

Ich hab mal einige Dateien von der DVD mit anderen zB direkt von Intel verglichen. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass bei den Dateien auf der DVD manchmal wesentlich mehr Dateien als nur der reine Treiber drauf ist, zB. sind von ASUS oft noch Microsoft Patches mit dabei, oder auch tlw. zusätzliche Ordner deren Inhalt ich nicht überprüft habe. Sowie zusätzliche Software.

Wäre es daher nicht besser, zuerst die ASUS DVD zu verwenden und dann ggf. die einzelnen Treiber upzudaten wenn eine neuere Version vorliegt?
Oder bringt es Probleme wenn ich einfach eine neue Version drüber lege ohne die alten Treiber zu entfernen?

Sollte ohne Probleme möglich sein, ich allerdings hab mir nur die Netzwerktreiber von der DVD geholt, den Rest direkt von der Asus Seite.

Wenn du die Asus Software nutzen möchtest, installier sie ruhig.
Mit den Treibern allein wird es aber genau so funktionieren. Nachträglich eine neue Version installieren sollte auch ohne Probleme funktionieren.

Ich persönlich will mir meinen PC nicht zumüllen und entscheide selbst welche einzelne Treiber/Patches/Software ich installieren möchte.

Hat jemand von euch das Board mit einem RAID 0 oder/und 1 laufen?

Bei mir hat sich folgender Fehler eingeschlichen:

Nach Installation des Rapid Storage Technology Driver Software V11.0.0.1032 (Treiber für AHCI und RAID) sinkt die Datendurchsatzrate vom RAID 0 und dem RAID 1 Richtung Boden. Mit org. Treiber funktioniert alles wunderbar.

Ich habe das Gefühl das dort eine Abfrage stattfinden und deswegen der Datendurchsatz erheblich gestört wird, auch sieht man eine „periodische Abfrage“ anhand des HDTune Tests. Der Fehler tritt NICHT auf einzelnen Festplatten auf, nur im RAID Modus.

BIOS Update und ältere Treiber habe ich ausprobiert bringt leider keine Besserung.

Was genau willst Du damit sagen? Hast Du diese Probleme weil Du die beiliegende Treiber-DVD installiert hast?
Andersrum müsste ja dann jeder diese Leistungseinbrüche haben.

Einige Punkte in diesem Thread zeigen aber deutlich, dass einige User nicht die ASUS-DVD verwendet haben und dann "Probleme" melden.
Ein Beispiel ist das "unbekannte Gerät" bzw. Ausrufezeichen im Gerätemanager. Alle Lösungswege die hier in mehreren Antworten gepostet wurden, über verschiedene Treiber direkt von der Intel Seite usw. wären schon vorab auf der DVD gewesen, wenn auch vielleicht nicht mit dem allerneuesten Treiber.

Ich weiss immer noch nicht welcher Weg hier besser wäre. Alle Treiber manuell zu installieren und dabei riskieren etwas zu vergessen oder was falsches zu erwischen. Oder die für das Board vorgesehene "Gesamtlösung" zu verwenden und dabei das Board mit Microsoft-Patches und Zusatzsoftware "zuzumüllen" und nicht von Anfang an die neuesten Treiber drauf zu haben. Ich persönlich kann auch gar nicht beurteilen wie wichtig die beiliegenden MS-Patches eigentlich sind und ob die evt. sowieso beim nächsten Patchday von MS gekommen wären oder auch niemals.

Ich habe nachdem ich den Fehler eingrenzen konnte ein Image gezogen von einer "nackten" Installation. Dort hab ich sowohl den Treiber von der DVD als auch den Treiber von der Intel Seite probiert. Test durchgeführt, danach Image wieder zurück und wieder das ganze von Anfang an. Beide verursachen das Problem.

Andersrum müsste ja dann jeder diese Leistungseinbrüche haben.

Ja, jeder der ein RAID betreibt .

Ohne diesen User nahe zu tretten: Wenn man mit Device ID nicht umgehen kann, dann MUSS man die DVD einlegen und alles installieren .

Für eine saubere Installation:

0. Win Install
1. Chipsatz Treiber
2. SATA / AHCI / RAID Treiber
3. VGA Treiber
5. Device ID´s durchgehen und fehlendeTreiber installieren
6. Software die man braucht installieren, z.B. Lüftersteuerung etc.
7. Windows Updates und SP
8. Image

habe mir einen neuen Computer zusammengestellt mit einem Asus P8Z77-V Pro und habe dazu ein paar Fragen:

1. Sollte ich nachdem ersten Start des Computers erst einmal das BIOS aktualisieren, bevor ich Windows installiere? Wenn ja, kann ich die .rom-Datei auf einer CD brennen und das BIOS dann via CD aktualisieren? Ich habe im Moment leider kein USB-Stick zur Hand.
2. Ich möchte die Treiber auf der mitgelieferten CD nicht nutzen und weiß nicht welche Treiber ich nun benötige. Ich bin bisher immer so vor gegangen: Chipsettreiber, Grafiktreiber, Soundtreiber und anschließend den Lantreiber installieren. Kommt da mittlerweile noch was hinzu?

Dein Problem entsteht ja offensichtlich nur bei dem RAID des Intel Ports bzw. durch den Intel Rapid Storage Treiber.

Ich möchte dann später auch ein RAID 0 einrichten, werde es aber wohl nur auf den beiden Marvell-Ports einrichten.
Dann benötige ich doch den Intel Rapid Storage Treiber gar nicht, sondern muss den enstprechenden Marvell-Raid nehmen?! Für AHCI kann ich den "nativen" Microsoft Treiber nehmen.
Wäre das nicht auch eine Lösung für Dein Problem?

Mir ist ehrlich gesagt aufgefallen, das die Verarbeitung nicht die beste ist. Ohne kleinkariert zu wirken, aber ich habe 2 Boards bekommen die bei den USB Ports gewölbt sind. Von dem ersten gibt es hier ein paar Seiten zurück auch Bilder, da war es gar so stark das die Ports nicht mehr über die Blende gepasst haben. Mein jetziges hat auch noch eine leichte Wölbung, da passt aber alles. Ist mir zumindest bei meinen vorherigen Asus Boards nicht aufgefallen!

Edit: Außerdem, macht die AI Suite ein wenig probleme. Ich regle damit meine Lüfter, aber die Temps werden wohl falsch ausgelesen, so das wenn ich z. B. LinX laufen habe und im Coretemp eine CPU Wärme von 60° C habe, die AI Suite nur 40° C anzeigt. Das hat natürlich zur Folge das die Lüfter nicht höher drehen so wie eingestellt. Man müsste also etwas "aggressiver" greifen lassen. Find ich ehrlich gesagt schade, aber ist kein MB Problem nehme ich an.

Auch ohne Asus-Fan zu sein, frage ich mich woher die verbogene Boards kommen. Vllt. 2te Wahl oder Ausschussware/Rückläufer? Keins meiner Ausus-Mobos war je verbogen.
Was AI Suite anbelangt, kann ich keine Probleme feststellen. Die Temps aus der Asus-Sensorüberwachung und div. Temp-Tolls stimmen nahezu überein,
siehe angehängte Grafik.
Man kann die Lüfter mit FanXpert einzeln regeln, mit früheren Versionen war es nicht immer so.

Tja das mit den verbogenen Boards ist mir auch schleierhaft, ich wüsste es aber auch gerne. Zu der Asus AI Suite, würde ich dich bitten vielleicht mal 5 min Prime laufen zu lassen und zu schauen ob die Temps immer noch überein stimmen bei mir ist das nämlich nicht so, da sind Unterschiede von 20° Grad normal. Außerdem, wäre es interessant von wo du deine AI Suite hast, von der CD oder ausm Netz ?

@Blade: Nein, zumindest bei mir selbst nicht. Habe am Rande mitbekommen das hier im Thread ein paar Leute Probleme mit den Windows Installationen hatten und auch mit dem Netzwerktreiber musst mal etwas zurückschauen. Ich hatte mit beidem aber keine Probleme.

Ich war einer von denen, im Telegramstil:

Windows Installation: Funktioniert bei mir auf der SSD im AHCI Modus nur über UEFI Boot, im Legacy modus keine Chance!

Netzwerktreiber: Lag nicht am Board, musste in der FritzBox die LAN-Anschluss-Stromsparfeatures deaktivieren, damit die Ports immer aktiv sind. Allerdings treten diese Probleme nur mit dem P8Z77-V auf. Mein Laptop, das alte A8N-E oder das Gigabyte vom Mitbewohner juckt das nicht. Mir scheint Board und FritzBox versuchen Strom zu sparen, wenn dann aber keine Seite mal den "Anfang macht", sind die Ports eben tot.
