Nein, die AI Suite finde ich überflüssig, aber muss ja jeder selben wissen, ob man das Gedöns braucht.

1602 scheint auch die Subtimings (2nd and 3rd) automatisch zu optimieren (straffen), so dass der RAM-Durchsatz bei schnelleren Modulen nicht in den Keller geht.
Also braucht man die Timings theoretisch nicht mehr manuell eingeben.

Allerdings friert mir Windows manchmal komplett ein, z.B. beim Browsen. Dann hilft nur noch Reset. Die Ursache habe ich noch nicht gefunden.

Joa das könnte gut knapp werden, außer du verbaust einen großen Luftkühler, sowas wie einen Macho dann wirds fast unmöglich :/

Aha, angeblich angeblich hängt es mit dem Fastboot zusammen. Deaktiviert man Fastboot und Hardware Fast Boot im Bios, soll der Bug nicht mehr auftreten.

So hier mal noch mein Ram für die Kompatibilitätsliste auf einem Z87 deluxe:
G.Skill TridentX DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR3-2400, CL10-12-12-31 (F3-2400C10D-16GTX)
läuft sogar mit leicht verschärften Timings ohne Probleme.

@voaddi: ja, wobei bei mir BT und Wifi ausgeschaltet ist, dass Board aber ohne AN-AUS-AN Bug startet.

Da die Deluxe Modelle keinen Firewire Controller besitzen, gibt es auch keinen Onboard Header. Heißt also bei Bedarf per PCIe nachrüsten.

Mein Board stürzt mit jeder Biosversion nach 1205 sporadisch ab (Blackscreen), am System wurde nichts verändert, es fährt Windows hoch und nach ca. 30 - 60 sec. ist es dann weg.
Hab jetzt wieder die 1205 am laufen und Ruhe ist mit den Abstürzen.
Clear Cmos wurde nat. nach jedem Update gemacht.

Die USB3 Controller geben bei mir USB3 Geschwindigkeit her, sowohl der Intel als auch der AsMedia.

Alle Anschlüsse, neuste Treiber, Transcend JF780 (USB 3.0 Stick). Hatte damit nur ca 30 MB/s Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit (xHCI auf "Smart Auto"). Nachdem ich im UEFI den xHCI-Modus auf Aktiviert gestellt habe, hatte ich 90 -100 MB/s!

Hast du eine lesende oder schreibende Übertragung getestet? Die Raten sind bei den JF780 Sticks sehr ungleich. Das kleinste Modell hat eine Schreibrate von nur 20MB/s.

Reproduzieren konnte ich das in jedem Fall nicht. Mit einer HyperX USB 3.0 SSD laste ich das Interface bis ans Limit aus (Windows 7 x64, WHQL-Treiber).

Windows 7 Installation auf SSD nicht möglich (Windows kann nicht auf diesen Datenträger installiert werden ...) Hänger bei Verwendung einer SSD	Aggressive LPM Support im BIOS/UEFI deaktivieren!
An-Aus-An BUG (PC startet, geht wieder aus und strartet erneut)	Problematik wird auch hier besprochen: ASUS HWLUXX Supportforum Zitat: Doktor[ASUS] Bei diesem Verhalten geht es einzig und alleine um Energieersparnis. Es ist nicht mehr so wie ihr es vielleicht von früher kennt, wo Controller im BIOS nur Software seitig deaktiviert wurden. Bei diesem Board kommt ein komplett neues Design zum Einsatz welches es ermöglicht die komplette Baugruppe elektrisch zu deaktivieren. Um den entsprechenden Status zu erzielen wird ein erneuter Start des Systems benötigt. Das mag im ersten Moment ungewohnt wirken, hat aber keinen negativen Einfluss auf das restliche System.
