Und nein, ich kann die als Ex-HoNler versichern, dass sich ein für alle sichtbares Ranking extrem schlecht auf die Community auswirkt...außerdem habe ich dotabuff nicht die Erlaubnis erteilt von mir ein 'Bewegungsprofil' zu veröffentlichen.Vielleicht hättest du dir lieber den Artikel durchgelesen, als dich so aufzuregen. KDA fließt nicht ein, nur mit wem du gegen wen gewonnen hast. Generell bewertet ihr das Ranking alle über. Theoretisch müsste man ja nur mit Leuten gematcht werden, die ein ähnliches Ranking haben wie man selbst. Außer man stackt, dann ist es aber eh egal.

I've got experience with World of Warcraft, and a little addon called GearScore. It started very small, very obscure. But lo and behold, more people started downloading it. Soon enough, entire servers were using it. Players that did not have gear that'd count up to an arbitrary number would not be welcome, they would not be judged upon their skill, or their talents, or what kind of gear they've gotten, no, they'd be judged based on the amount of points that their gear gave them. It went so far that Blizzard limited the way the API worked so that it required a click on a person rather than auto-scanning, as well as releasing their own simpler version of rating in the form of average itemlevel, as the GearScore tool was becoming toxic to the community and needed moderation.
Now let's look at Heroes of Newerth. We have fully public stats there. To go a step further, people are even ranked in colour from game to game, you can easily discern who is the best and worst on the team. What did that game teach us about stats? That we can look up fun things, that we can compare ourselves to others, but that people who had no base on flaming before would now dive into your stats and try their hardest to make you feel miserable, restricting how you play by not letting the lowest ranked player play a carry, for example.
Personally, I play Dota 2 for a variety of reasons. I play it for the team element, competitive angle, the ability to make comebacks, the high variety of heroes, strategies, items, playstyles, etc. What I do not play Dota 2 for, is the ability to defend myself from people who will dive back into my stats and pull up something that is inferior to their own stats. I do not play Dota 2 so I can mute people every game I enter. I do not play Dota 2 so I can fight with other people over which lane I should take that game based on my DBR being lower than theirs.
So, what is the solution?
Private DBR and default settings to private. You want your stats, so you can have them on public. But do not force people who do not even know of Dotabuff to be affected by this. Do not force people who do not want anything to do with this rating to be involved with this. This should not be a decision forced down on others - it must be an option, and nothing else.
Ohne jetzt an dem Schalter rumgespielt zu haben würde ich jetzt mal vermuten, dass Dota2 da einfach nur die "Rates" ändert.Oha, noch gar nicht entdeckt, die Option ... ich kann die Netzwerkqualität nur auf "an" und "aus" stellen... was ist jetzt was? und was hab ich für nachteile, wenn ich die niedrigere Einstellung nehme?
Ohne jetzt an dem Schalter rumgespielt zu haben würde ich jetzt mal vermuten, dass Dota2 da einfach nur die "Rates" ändert.

Hab grad in einer privaten Lobby mit rumgespielt. Beim meinem net_graph waren up und down etwas geringer und lerp war bei 133 ms (also mit Netzwerkquali auf AUS)

- Fixed bug that would cause bots to fountain-dive sometimes.
WORKSHOP
- Added a "Show Low-Res Model" checkbox that toggles between showing the low & high resolution LODs for imported models when in Loadout camera view.
- Now automatically switches to showing low-res models in the Day/Night camera views, and high-res models in the Portrait camera view (since that's how they're used by the game).
- Fixed "Other" submission type displaying a "failed to find content file" when submitting.
- Fixed Preview not resetting background properly when moving from Portrait to Day/Night view.
- Fixed Preview losing hero rotation when going to and from Portrait view.
- Fixed a case where the Add Wearable slot buttons didn't work for some slots on some heroes (like Sven).

Die Wave wurde schon vor ein paar Wochen generft (Range), ist zwar immer noch ein nerviger Skill, aber kann mMn so bleiben.Toller patch! Im nächsten noch den Wave Aoe/Range von Kotl nerfen, Spiked Carapace fixen (die DMG-Quelle stunnen (necros, bär, treants etc) und nicht den Helden, der die DMG Quelle kontrolliert) und das ist eine der besten Versionen überhaupt.
