…. oder zum Ryzen Refresh, 5800X3D oder gar 5950X3D, ohne den ich mit meiner 3700X Krücke wohl bei 24k unter Luft feststecke? Ich hoffe auf Februar/März.

Ja, bei Kleinanzeigen werden sich immer wieder Mal welche finden, aber sowas sollte man fast abholen und Funktionstest machen.

It was a though battle for sure
Not so cold outside, i'm sure it can handle another 20-40 mhz when its colder
Unfortunately I had the worst cpu score in the 27K round .. but who cares :)

Isn't the VRM not as good as the OC Formula/Gaming X/Z Trio?
 
No clue. But with the best VRAM in business and the XTXH it is the best card in my mind.
Only the water lock needs to be exchanged.

But other XTXH cards can run the VRAM at higher clock speeds using the LC BIOS. Unless it's different? Is there a difference in VRAM performance between an XTXH card with the LC BIOS and the actual LC Limited Edition?

Maybe the LC could go even higher or is more stable at its stock VRAM speed?
I guess for highest OC the highest stock standards may work best.

I would think, till 27000 Points its easier with the original LC. (not so much failure correction@vram>2400FT2)
The LC has 18Gbps and the OCF only 16Gbps Vram.
In this range the 2x8pin should be enough. (look@S+D, both 600...650W asic)
Therefore the temp rules and its easier too achieve.

Only 28k probably needs the 3x8Pin and good stars constellation and moonphase if you want to grab good Vram together
with best VRM. (and very good cooling above 800W to stay <60°C hotspot and <25°C Vram)
If you need 3x8pin or 2x8pin depends on the asic quality. (S+D has a high asic with low elektricity leakage)
But some high asic chips are not so easy with the settings, because they will boost like hell.(more instability)
Lower/normal asic quality chips are easier to handle but need more W and cooling.(therefore 3x8pin)

For 28K I would need over 3000mhz, and I see that as completely impossible ..

The runs are over 3000mhz core clock.
TS sometimes reads correctly, many times not.
And the highest settings are not always
the best way. Every GPU has its own sweat spot.
Important is the FCLK + Boost and VRAM with as little error correction as possible.
The voltage as low as possible, because voltage generates heat.
In GT1, for example, you need more voltage than in GT2.
There is still a lot to do.:d
