[Übersicht] Ultimative AM4 UEFI/BIOS/AGESA Übersicht

Mit dem Wechsel von F4 (AGESA V2 1.2.0.7) zu F5c (AGESA V2 1.2.0.8) auf dem Gigabyte X570S Aero G unterstützt das Boot Logo nun auch das Ultrawidescreen-Format. Zumindest wird es jetzt bei 32:9 nicht mehr gestretcht.
Könnt ja den ein oder anderen interessieren.

Im Screenshot unten ein Vergleich der Final-Bios-Versionen seit AB0 für das MEG Unify X570

keine Änderungen für Ryzen 1xxx, 2xxx

erstes Microcode Update für Ryzen 3xxx seit AB0 (5. letztes Final Bios)
erstes Microcode Update für Ryzen 4xxx seit AD0 (4. letztes Final Bios)
erneutes Microcode Update für Ryzen 5xxx (letztes Final Bios)

Die Betas habe ich zur besseren Übersicht nicht berücksichtigt.

Diese neue AGESA scheint aber irgendwie ein MSI only Ding zu sein, oder ??
Haben schon andere Hersteller ein neues Bios raus gebracht ??

Nein, AGESA 1.2.0.A ist kein MSI-only-Ding. ;)
 
OK, aber bei ASUS ist in diese Richtung noch nix passiert.
 
Für das ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero wird AGESA 1.2.0.A bereits final angeboten. Es braucht daher etwas Zeit, bis die anderen Modelle ein entsprechendes BIOS-Update erhalten.
 
Hab beim Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX 1.2 n neues BIOS. FBe. Macht das Sinn? Steht irgendwas von Download vulnerabilities. Safak?
 
Für das MSI B550-A PRO ist eine neue Version veröffentlicht worden:

Weiß jemand wie man aspm bei einem MSI x570 Tomahawk WiFi aktivieren kann? Frage für meine Intel Arc 8-)
 
ASPM ginge nur mit Mod, entweder.forcieet aktiv oder durch verschieben von Menüs, sodass du es selbst einstellen kannst, andernfalls hat MSI es deaktiviert und nicht einstellbar versteckt.
 
Habe schon mit dem ifr extractor aspm aktiviert, aber das hat dann nur für die nvme geklappt. Hast du eine Anleitung für die Mod?
 
Bios Splitten, dann den 2nd split mit dem AMIBCP öffnen, unter "Setup- Advanced - Demo Board - PCI-E Port" die ASPM einstellen sollte helfen.

Bei meinen Mods schalte ich die Device immer auf Enabled und ASPM auf "Auto" so kann das System selbst wählen welche Geräte ASPM unterstützen und welche nicht.

Hinterher die Splits wieder zusammenfügen und das Bios speichern und neu flashen.

If the PCI-E Link-Speed changes while in idle, and also the powerdraw from the GPU.

Both should be less, depending on the Windows Powerplan settings you are using.
PCI-E Link-Speed should Change from 2.5 Up to 16GT/s

Houston we have a problem
my results i think is low gpu-z say 3.0 and i stuck to 8.0 gt/s in hwinfo results
and i play some games

Otherwise idk where the Problem is.

i have 3 disk sata and 1 nvme in first slot maybe this is a problem for pci 4.0

i have a riser cable problem i change and now gpu-z have good results pci 16x 4.0 @ 16x pci 4.0
and pci link speed is now ok 16gt/s but dont change stuck always 16gt/s and gpu-z the same always stuck to 16x4.0
i think mod dont work with my setup

It stays at x16 but the powerdraw should be low?

Otherwise there is an entry within the BIOS with "keep Link on" that one you can try to set to disabled.

If thats also not working then i guess its an AMD "Problem", because for me, with Nvidia Card, it switches the pcie Link-Speed.

Looks normal and wouldn't change much if the Link Speed is lower.

Powerdraw is fine!
