[Sammelthread] ZFS Stammtisch

---------- Post added at 15:16 ---------- Previous post was at 15:15 ----------

---------- Post added at 15:19 ---------- Previous post was at 15:16 ----------

gea, sag mir was wir versuchen sollten.

Ergebnis:
oops...
SAS2 monitoring needs Smart-Serials for correct disk detection. Smartvalues are missing!"

"This is a nonfree extension for more than 8 SAS2 disks, you can evaluate 60 days for free. Please wait, collecting needed infos could last some time....
When LSI Serial is only part of Smart SN - be carefull about slots "

- neue HGST Platte, Parted hängt (vermutlich da gar keine Partition ab Werk)

also: erstmal Partition erstellen:

eventuell Menu disks - sas2 extension - delete buffered sas info

---------- Post added at 14:16 ---------- Previous post was at 14:03 ----------

fdisk -A id:act:bhead:bsect:bcyl:ehead:esect:ecyl:rsect:numsect fdisk-1m

UPS,
was ist jetzt los?

Napp-it aufgerufen und Menü Platten angewählt - parted bleibt hängen.

---------- Post added at 14:45 ---------- Previous post was at 14:42 ----------

Eh goil,

---------- Post added at 14:57 ---------- Previous post was at 14:45 ----------

---------- Post added at 15:45 ---------- Previous post was at 15:03 ----------

Thema: ACL

Thema: ACL
Sorry, habs vergessen.

Einfach ein $ an den Freigabenamen hängen.
Steht als Info unten im Sharemenü

Das setzt nur die ACL neuerer Dateien.
ACL bestehender Dateien ändern:
- per CLI und chmod
- Per Windows (ACL recursiv setzen)
- per napp-it ACL extension: reset ACL

Ich glaub es nicht.
Ich finde beides nicht in den Menüs.

Weder den Freigabenamen noch das reset ACL.

Freigabenamen:

ACL reset
Menü ZFS-Folder in der Spalte "Folder-ACL" auf ein Filesystem klicken (napp-it 0.9)
bei napp-it 0.8 ACL extension wählen

ACL reset
Menü ZFS-Folder in der Spalte "Folder-ACL" auf ein Filesystem klicken (napp-it 0.9)
bei napp-it 0.8 ACL extension wählen

Hurra gefunden.
Ganz unten in der untersten Reihe
Danke.

SCU

Einige Supermicro 2011er-Boards besitzen offenbar zusätzliche SATA-Ports "via SCU".

Supermicro X9SRL-F:
Code:
root@FILESERVER ~ # lspci | egrep "Storage Control Unit"
07:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller: Intel Corporation Patsburg 4-Port SATA Storage Control Unit (rev 06)

SupermicroSupport schrieb:
I duplicated your issue on my system here. I also talked to my engineers and they said that SCU device cannot be passthroughed because it is already under two switches.
From your screenshot you can see that the SCU device is under the virtual switch port, which is under another upstream port that is under the root port. This is the hardware limitation of SCU.

Danke!
Damit rückt Sockel 2011 verlockend näher, weil ich mir ja dann fürs erste das dezidierte HBA und 2x SAS=>SATA Kabel sparen könnte...

Mann, ich bin doof. :heul:

everyone@=modify
root=full

user1=full
user2=read
user3=read

illumos HCL - WIP

bzw.
