Ein Acard hat 2x SATA2 (also Quad-Raid 0)

Die Kosten sind nicht ohne (knapp 1000€ für 2x Acard, 16 Module und diesem Gehäuse)), aber immer noch "günstiger" als mein erstes Setup, das viel, viel schwächer ist.

CrucialEmployee : That's correct, it will be available on crucial.com/eu sometime next week. We have only released it in the US so far.

Bonebreaker: ...And where should I buy it from when I'm from Germany? crucial.com or crucial.com/uk or crucial.com/eu?

CrucialEmployee : crucial.com/eu would be best.

Bonebreaker: Do I have to expect any other local taxes or something like that?

CrucialEmployee : Not if you order it from crucial.com/eu. You will be charged VAT when the order is placed.

Bonebreaker: Do you have any price information for me...What will the price for the RealSSD C300 256GB in Euro?

CrucialEmployee : We don't have pricing on it yet unfortunately. As soon as it becomes available, it will be shown on the website.

Bonebreaker: And will there be any further firmware releases for this SSD...and if yes where can I find them?

CrucialEmployee : For the RealSSD C300? There are none planned yet but if any do become available, they will be on the support section of the
website.

Bonebreaker: What's the difference between crucial.com/uk and crucial.com/eu as I can order from both to Germany?

CrucialEmployee : Basically the only difference is one charges in Euro and the other in GBP. They both ship from the UK. As long as you don't order
from crucial.com as that will ship from the US and charge higher shipping costs and imports duties etc.

Bonebreaker: Can you explain shortly what are the steps if I would have a warranty case with my RealSSD as I'm located in Germany...

CrucialEmployee : You would just contact us either through this live chat or by email or by phone and we would arrange an exchange for you.

Bonebreaker: I've heard somewhere around the web that there will be a RealSSD package including some accessories like an USB Adapter? Is
this true and when will it be available?

Bonebreaker: Do I have to pay for any warranty shipping to UK?
Bonebreaker: ...And how long does such a warranty case last normally?

CrucialEmployee : There will be a product similar to the SK01 kit available for the new C300 but we do not have a release date for it yet. That will
likely include a housing with USB connection. We have a UPS account we can provide if there ever was a warranty issue so you would not incur any charges. The turnaround is pretty fast (providing stock is available). We would expect to ship out a replacement within a few days of receiving your returned part back.

Bonebreaker: Ah ok...Is the firmware for the RealSSD coming from Crucial directly or from Micron?

CrucialEmployee : Micron. Crucial is just the sales division of Micron, we don't manufacture anything ourselves.

Bonebreaker: what's in the basic RealSSD package?

Bonebreaker: Will you still sell the M225 with Indilinx Controller?

CrucialEmployee : The package contents for the C300 has not been finalised yet, that information will be available when the product becomes available in the UK / EU. The M225 does use the Indilinx controller, yes.

Bonebreaker: What is the shipping firmware on the RealSSD? 0001 as used on many reviews?
Bonebreaker: Anything that should me keep waiting to buy a RealSSD from your opinion?
Bonebreaker: Are there planned some other new SSD models in the near future?

CrucialEmployee : We don't have any details currently on the firmware these come with either, unfortunately a lot of this information will only be available once we have the actual product, but we learned a lot from some of the issues with the M225 series so these C300 should be a solid product from the start, regardless of the firmware version. There are no newer or faster SSD's planned aside from the C300 at the moment.

Die RealSSD taucht jetzt teilweise deutlich günstiger bei einigen Preisvergleichen auf...einfach mal selber suchen wen es interessiert...

Hey, 399.- für die 256GB Version ist doch mal ein guter Preis zum Einstieg. Da steht die X25M 160GB recht doof da.
 
Wo hast Du denn welche für 399 EUR gefunden? Auf GH hab ich zwar die Version mit 256 GB als Hauptübersicht, aber wenn man drauf klickt ist die 128 GB Version gemeint.
 
Dreck, war für die 128GB, hab nur nicht genau genug gelesen.
639.- für die 256er ist natürlich nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen.
 
Bis auf 4KB Random Write nicht schlecht.

hmm... die 4k random write werte sind erstaunlich... sowohl die c300 als auch die LE können hier nicht überzeugen.
 
Die sollen mal ordentlich mit AS SSD Benchmark testen:fresse:
 
Ist die C300 mit den Daten jetzt besser als System-SSD geeignet als eine Intel X-25M G2 160GB? Bin etwas verwirrt durch die schlechten IOPS und 4k-Werte.
 
Für jeden normalen user sind die 200 € die Intel für die 80gb Postville aufruft schon ne Hausnummer aber wemm es das Wert ist OK .
Aber 450 € für ne Systemplatte deren Vorteile im Altag auch nicht wirklich spürbar sind . Das ist was für Freaks die Einfach immer das Schnellste wollen für alle anderen wird nach wie vor die Postville die bessere Alternative sein .

Der Vergleich ist aber auch unfair(hab ja selber aus dem Grund eine UD ;)), die haben einfach ein spitzenmäßiges P/L Verhältnis.

Ich wollte damit nur ausdrücken, dass der Preis für die gebotene Leistung durchaus ok ist. Dagegen finde ich die z.B. Vertex LE auch im Anbetracht der gebotenen Leistung deutlich zu teuer (ca 3,5€/GB).

Man sollte nicht vergessen das die C300 ja auch erst neu am Markt ist und wahrscheinlich eher noch günstiger wird!

hab meine sa(n)dforce storniert... bin am überlegen die c300 zu ordern.
 
Ich glaub IRL nehmen sich die beide nicht viel.
Und momentan sind die Preise recht heftig, da ist die X25M einfach die bessere Option wenn die Limitierung beim Schreiben nicht allzu stört.
 
wenn ich im crucial eu shop bestellen will gehts net, produkt nicht lagernd, blabla...

yep - ich kauf aber keine intel mehr (nach der g1 verarsche)
fazit: c300 bestellt. wird halt ein wenig dauern bis sie kommt.
 
gibts eigentlich schon eine gscheite sata 3 pcie karte?
finde af geizhals nix besonderes.
