Wie ist denn der Support bei Fanatec aktuell?

Seit der Übernahme durch Corsair soll es besser geworden sein. Vor ein paar Wochen kam ne Infomail von Fanatec, dass sie das komplette Supportsystem umgestellt haben und noch Altlasten abarbeiten, das aber demnächst erledigt sein sollte, sinngemäß.

Mail vom 29.11.2024:

Dear Sim Racer,

We'd like to share some important updates from Fanatec. Now that we are proudly part of the CORSAIR family, we are working quickly to improve the customer experience.

Customer Service: To bring our customer service up to the standard you should expect from a CORSAIR brand, we have already successfully integrated Zendesk software into our CRM system, which will improve our efficiency, with more tickets resolved with a single interaction. The backlog is now at 8 days and we expect to be at a turnaround time of 1 day within the next weeks.

Warranty Support: CORSAIR will honor all existing warranties, ensuring you have access to prompt assistance through your Fanatec account. We're committed to resolving any issues quickly and effectively to get you back behind the wheel and racing as quickly as possible.

Software Updates: We're investing in software improvements to give you the best possible experience with Fanatec products. We already teased the new Fanatec App at the SimRacing Expo this year, an all-new software that combines the Fanatec Driver, FanaLab, and Mobile App into one. The beta starts soon so keep an eye out on the Fanatec Forum.

Ich wollte mich nochmal bei Allen für das super-Input und die Unterstützung bei meiner Suche bedanken!!!!!!

Bei mir ist es jetzt ein Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro mit 5nm geworden.
Ist zwar bisserl über Budget, aber hey...

Dann holste dir noch das Netzteil für die 8 nm bei Ali / Kleinazeigen und dann haste doch direkt 8nm

Ich hatte mittlerweile 2 Supportfälle und beides wurde nach mehrmaligem Nachbohren dann auch super gehandhabt.

Wo liegt denn eigentlich der Unterschied zwischen diesem QR1 und QR2 System und wat is dat überhaupt???

Schau dir mal an wie sich die Base mit den 5 NM macht. Wenn ich es richtig im Kopf habe, hast du kein Rig. Wenn sich dein Schreibtisch, Gestell oder wo auch immer du die Base montierst bewegen lässt übertragt sich ein Teil der Kraft ins Gestell und die "Auflösung" am Lenkrad ist futsch. Also meine Empfehlung, schau mal wie du mit den 5 Nm zurecht kommst und das neue Netzteil ist ja dann gleich dazu gekauft wenn es sein muss.
