2.12.1 CPU-Kühler
- Kühler Noctua NH-D15: passt, aber bei hohen Rams müssen die Lüfter außermittig montiert werden. Bei Einsatz DIMM.2-Card im PCH-Slot ergibt sich dadurch ein höherer Aufbau von 1,5 - 2 cm. Der NH-D15 ist recht breit. Bei einer GraKa wie EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 im ersten Slot liegt der Kühlkörper stramm auf der GraKa auf! <- Danke an lofterdings

- Ich kann im BIOS die VCCIN-Spannung nicht finden.
- Wenn SVID im Bios aktiviert ist, kommt es vor, dass der Punkt VCCIN im Bios nicht mehr sichtbar ist. Dazu einfach SVID auf AUTO stellen oder deaktivieren.
- Man fährt das System normal im Windows herunter und startet dann später den Rechner wieder mit dem Einschaltknopf.

Wenn man im Bios in den APM-Einstellungen die Funktion ErP-Ready auf Enable (S4+S5) oder Enable (S5) stellt, startet das System nach einem Kaltstart quasi zwei Mal.
Laut elmor (Asus) kann man das wohl nicht so einfach fixen:
Confirmed over here that this is caused by setting ErP Ready = Enable (S4+S5) or Enable (S5). It's not something that can be "fixed", just how it's implemented. It does the initial boot in order to set correct boot voltage values before continuing, same behavior as when going from a full power off.
Also ErP Ready deaktivieren. Ist natürlich blöd, weil dann die USB-Ports auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand Strom bekommen und die LEDs auf dem Board an sind. Aber die LEDs kann man deaktivieren.

- Vollständiger CMOS-Reset (ASUS-Empfehlung)
- 1. PC ausschalten
2. vom Strom trennen
3. Beim letzten PCIe Slot befindet sich die Bios-Batterie. Diese herausnehmen und falsch herum einsetzen.
4. 10 bis 15 Minuten warten
5. Batterie wieder richtig rum einsetzen
6. Einschalten
Wichtig: während Schritt 3 bis 5 darf der PC nicht an das Stromnetz anschlossen werden!
Laut ASUS Informationen löscht dies wohl den Cache von vorherigen BIOS Versionen und löst auch gleichzeitig einen vollständigen Reset vom aktuellen BIOS aus.
