An-Aus-An BUG (PC startet, geht wieder aus und strartet erneut)	Problematik wird auch hier besprochen: ASUS HWLUXX Supportforum Zitat: Doktor[ASUS] Bei diesem Verhalten geht es einzig und alleine um Energieersparnis. Es ist nicht mehr so wie ihr es vielleicht von früher kennt, wo Controller im BIOS nur Software seitig deaktiviert wurden. Bei diesem Board kommt ein komplett neues Design zum Einsatz welches es ermöglicht die komplette Baugruppe elektrisch zu deaktivieren. Um den entsprechenden Status zu erzielen wird ein erneuter Start des Systems benötigt. Das mag im ersten Moment ungewohnt wirken, hat aber keinen negativen Einfluss auf das restliche System. Wir haben aber ein Auge auf das Thema und werden euer Feedback mit einfließen lassen. It´s not a bug it´s a Feature! Wer dieses Verhalten nicht möchte sollte einfach alles aktiviert lassen...

Sorry, hatte nicht erwähnt, dass ich die V-Edition habe, dort steht:

Ich habe das jetzt so verstanden, dass beide Slots entweder (bei jeweiliger Einzelbelegung) x16 können, oder eben jeweils 8x bei Doppelbelegung

Die V-Edition von einem Z87 Deluxe? Meinst du nicht eher ein Z87 Pro-V? Das passt dann nicht ganz hier rein und deshalb können manche Aussagen, die auf das Deluxe zutreffen, für das Pro-V sogar falsch sein.

"x16 or dual x8" heißt in den meisten Fällen 16/0 oder 8/8 (weil es technisch zu aufwändig wäre zusätzlich 0/16 zu realisieren).

Wenn du die Grafikkarte also in den zweiten PEG steckst, hast du maximal eine Anbindung mit 8 Lanes.

Eben geupdatet. Nein, braucht man nicht. Hab übers Bios mit Usb Stick das Update durchgeführt. Erfahrungen gibts nach 10 Min noch keine, wie es läuft

Ich habe eine externe 2,5" Platte in einem USB 3.0 Gehäuse. An einem Anschluß mit 1m USB 3.0 Verlängerung funktioniert die Platte einwandfrei, an einem anderen Anschluß (mit dem selben Kabel) hat sie Aussetzer.

Die USB 3.0 Anschlüsse auf dem Mainboard für das Front-Panel sind von Intel
Auf der Rückseite sind 4 x USB 3.0 von ASMedia und der Rest ist wieder von Intel

ich betreibe das Board mit Windows 7 64Bit und bekomme nun im Explorer ein Wechseldatenträger Laufwerk, obwohl nichts angeschlossen ist.
Wenn ich den Datenträger öffnen möchte, kommt die Meldung, dass ich einen Datenträger einlegen soll?!?
Was könnte das denn sein bzw. für was soll das gut sein?
Wenn ich einen USB-Stick einstecke, reiht der sich danach ein und das Laufwerk verschwindet auch wieder, wenn der Stick draußen ist.

Hab erst gestern mein Windows 8.1 neu installiert und von Intel nur folgendes installiert:

Management Engine Interface V9.5.15.1730 [für Windows 8.1] von der ASUS-Seite
(Leider auf der Intel-Seite nicht auffindbar, aber für das Mainboard notwendig. Man hat ohne Installation unbekannte Geräte.

Intel® Chipset Device Software (INF Update Utility) 3/13/2015 10.0.26 [für Windows 8.1] von der Intel-Seite
(Manuell im Intel® Download Center zu finden unter "Software" > "Chipset Software" > "Intel® Chipset Software InstallationUtility". Dann einfach nach dem Betriebsystem filtern)

Das ganze andere Intel Zeugs wie Intel® Smart Connect Technology, Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, usw. sollte man nur dann installieren wenn es unbedingt notwenig ist. Das ganze macht mehr Probleme als es hilft.
Die Treiber für den ASMedia SATA-Controller sind auch nicht so das wahre. Ich hab da auch den Windows-Standard Treiber genommen.
