EVGA introduces a full range of EVGA eGeForce 7800GS products for AGP.
Los Angeles, Munich, February 6th, 2006. EVGA Corporation, one of the leading edge 3D processor- and motherboard manufacturers announced that it expands its product range to offer the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS product family for the performance demanding AGP upgrade market. The product family consists of a standard version plus three faster performing models to accommodate a variety of end user expectations for a variety of different applications.
The top model, the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS KO SuperClockTM Knock-Out ACS3TM version, running at KO SuperClockTM, is the fastest-ever built 3D processor board for the AGP bus. The EVGA eGeForce 7800GS KOTM Knock-Out ACS3TM version features EVGA’s award winning ACS3TM cooling solution in combination with a hand selected GeForce 7800GS graphics processor to run more than 20% faster than reference clock settings. The hand selected memory will run at 1.40 GHz compared with 1.2 GHz reference settings contributing to EVGA’s proprietary and impressive KO SuperClockedTM performance boost.
In addition, the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS KOTM SuperClockTM Knock-Out ACS3TM version is equipped with 2 DVI output connectors and two DVI/VGA converters to support any combination of two displays up to resolutions of 2048 x 1536 pixels on each of the two displays. The video-in/high definition video-out connector makes the board also suitable for a vast variety of multimedia applications.
The slightly lower prices EVGA eGeForce 7800GS CO SuperClockTM Copper version, features EVGA’s award winning and best selling Copper Cooler, and is running at a core speed of 460 MHz and 1.35 GHz memory speed, while the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS COTM Copper version is clocked 430 MHz/ 1.30 GHz.
EVGA will also offer the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS featuring EVGA’s genuine specifications running at 375 MHz engine clock and 1200 MHz memory clock.
All products will be available on Feb. 8 through EVGA’s worldwide distribution network.
EVGA eGeForce 7800GS KO SuperClockTM Knock-Out ACS3 version will retail at € 429, the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS SuperClockTM Copper version at € 399, the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS Copper version at € 369, and the EVGA eGeForce 7800GS at € 349.
