my issue is with overclocking the gtx 780 TI classy
I also have a 780 ti sc acx and I got to 1300mhz with little to no effort
I cant get any stable over clock in heaven or vally, (not even 10 mhz) I was reading in another forum post the card has some voltage bios issues
i have similar problem with 780 classi. i cant overclock over 90mhz offset. that means that i barely get 1200mhz on boost clock. i dont know if that happened from ASIC 62.3%. . Matthmarro sorry i cant replay ur pm cause i have only 2 post on evga forums.
i did all oc steps i read. switch Ln2 bios , power target 115% temp target 95C overvoltage on +63mv. first checked core clock increasing 13mhz per time till the driver crush. i had potential for my classy but now i am really disappointed.
I'm disappointed with my 780ti Classified as well. So far it's been a dud for overclocking. Barely 1200 MHZ boost and almost nothing on the memory (artifacts at +200) The stock voltage boost doesn't help much either, it only increase's the time before a crash. Funny thing is the best OC I've been able to stabilize (1232) in the Heaven benchmark has been at stock voltage. Once I go any further it will crash halfway through, occasionally it will complete a run but will crash part way through the second run, additional voltage does nothing to stabilize it.
I have also used the Ln2 bios, with power target at 115%, temp target 95C over voltage on +75mv. I can't believe a card marketed so heavily toward over clocking overclocks so poorly. If this were a reference card I wouldn't be complaining, just luck of the draw, but all classified's should perform above average. I'm really hoping the new bios will help with these issues.
SO the farthest I can get is 25mhz oc on my gpu, but im stuck at stock voltage , cant seems to get over voltage to work at all
I have the same problem.. I can get a +75 on core with no voltage added. Anything other than that results in artifacts or "video driver stops responding". Adding voltage doesn't help either. 1.212 = still +75 stable. ln2 does the same thing.
Hi folks,
my new Classified 780Ti only boost up to 1150 MHz Stock and uses 1.2v.
1250 MHz is not possible, 1202 is maxout with stock bios. This can't be the idea behind "classified" cards.. I don't wanna use other BIOS-Hacks, I just want a card with a normal good oc-potential and the possibility to push it over 1.2v via EVGA BIOS.
ASIC is 64,4% - very low.. and the ACX cooler makes a bad noise.
I'm totally frustrated.
I just got my 780 Ti Classified on the 24th and I'm not sure if I should RMA it, wait for new drivers or try a different bios. I get artifacts on 3DMark and Tomb Raider at the default settings on either bios. Grid 2 crashes within 30 seconds of a race start and Tomb Raider crashes after no more than 5 minutes. Did I just get a bad card or are others having these problems too? If I try a different bios will it void my warranty, or only if I over volt it?
