offizielles Abit Statement an unsere TwinMOS Techniker in Taiwan (vom 23.10.2003) - bezieht sich also eigentlich nur auf TwinMOS TwiSTER DDR500
We have finished test report.
It's test only for 2.8V.
As to the problem that can't boot over 2.9V , we found it on most high-level M/B like IC7 .... , etc. but other brand of module won't happen this kind of problem. Our RD is checking this , but we are sorry that we still don't have conclusion yet.
But as to the BIOS problem you mentioned before , we found that it's our BIOS problem of 865/875 M/Bs :when adjusting different
DRAM : CPU Ratio , will cause no boot problem . It's our problem , and we have already release beta BIOS and go on testing , this is not problem of 2.9V.
When overclocking , please suggest your customer use these DRAM timing settings and in 2.8V
CL=2.5----------------------------------3 (Chipset Maximum)
RAS# to CAS delay= 3---------------4 (Chipset Maximum)
RAS# Precharge=3-------------------4 (Chipset Maximum)
Cycle time(tras)=6--------------------8 (Chipset Maximum)
Besides, We have lot's of compatibility problems on VT880/VT800 with many brand of memory , including TwinMOS.
ist nicht der Originaltext, da übersetzt aus dem Chinesischen oder Mandarin oder was weis ich - ist ja eigentlich auch egal.
