Um die Treiber-Generationen anzugleichen, aber auch um die Hardware auf ein neues Level vorzubereiten, haben wir das Testsystem etwas umgestellt. Der Intel Core i7-3960X wird von 3,2 GHz auf 4,2 GHz übertaktet, um Limitierungen durch den Prozessor weitestgehend auszuschließen. Folgende Systemkomponenten kommen dabei zum Einsatz:
