Stoneage hat sich lange mit seinem MSI Delta2 beschäftigt. Er hatte das Problem, dass sein board bei 217MHz abgeriegelt hat. Er hat sich tierisch darüber aufgeregt, da MSI das board mehr oder minder als ein OC board geworben hat (Vdimm=3,3V ;Vcore=2V...). Mein damaliges Delta2 Pl war schon bei 209MHz am Ende. Dass MSI eine OC Sperre eingebaut hat, halte ich für Quatsch. Das Problem dürfte die NVMM verursachen. Je nach Speicher und NVMM Version bootet das board tatsächlich bis ca. 220MHz (Cl2). Bei dem ASRock ist es teils ähnlich.
Die Delta2 hatten problematische BIOSe. Das erste BIOS B30 ist auch das beste für das board. Die späteren BIOS Versionen waren meist schlechter. Bei den neueren Versionen musste man z.B. meist DOT (automatische Übertaktung) aktivieren, damit es stabil lief.
Stoneage hat auch das erste mod BIOS für das Delta2 gemacht.
Interessant ist für mich, dass das DFI mit der letzten SB und Delta2 ähnlich sind, bzw. ähnlich problematisch.
Mein jetztiges Delta2 Pl ist in einem build und läuft FSB 235MHz 24/7 mit Hynix DT-D43.

Verdammt gute bh5 laufen über 280mhz. Ich tippe solide old bh5 machen mindestens die 260 voll, eher mehr. Ich denke da an pc3500 sticks oder noch besser gebinnt. So spontan corsair LL oder ocz vx und sicher noch weitere...
Ich bin noch nicht zu den ballistix gekommen, muss die noch auf funktion testen

With 3.3v I should have 2-4 dimms who can boot these speeds. I should test them on my Ultra D one day, I binned them on my dr Expert with a chip which did not have the best mem controller (but Ok).
Still one could do a 291MHz boot and 2 hit 285-287MHz. 3 Corsair pc3500 were the best and one Kingston was flying.

At least more than ~2400MHz would be nice. >2600MHz (aircooling) is excellent for me.
Konnte deswegen die Füße im Urlaub nicht still halten. 🙈

From what I see as good in a quicktest for max MHz:
A good cpu should boot 2400MHz @1.65v, if not it could be good if it scales Ok (I have one).
A better then good cpu should boot 2500MHz @1.65v
My best cpu’s need less then 1.65v to boot 2500MHz.
Everything else is worthless.
Edit: testing is done watercooled. Testing with a stock cooler needs a little more voltage.
Edit 2: Please keep in mind that good cpu’s still need to be able to scale well. I see a lot of cpu’s top out between 2700 and 2750MHz. At that point voltages raise quickly.
One other thing: Most 2003 week 4x cpu’s seem to hate voltages of 2.050v-2.100v and above. They just don’t post, at least on water.

I also ordered IQYHA from the same seller, also 0406 but UPMW. Here's the results for 32M runs:

Nice results. I never really test with pi 32M for stability. I use Cinebench 2003 to get an idea of stability.
My best cpu boots Windows XP at 1.575v and 2500MHz and needs 1.65v for a 2600MHz boot.

I also got a better Cpu (2600+ IQYHA 0352 MPMW) which is 24/7 (Prime) stable at 2500MHz 1.65V and can even run 2700Mhz at 1.85V. Never tried above 1.9V as i'm afraid to kill it. I consider this a excellent cpu. Afaik there are even better ones (~1.6V for 2500Mhz) but these are golden samples.

Meine XP-M 2400+ CPUs sind jedenfalls schlechter als deine.
Ich habe jeweils nur kurz prime laufen lassen. Es ist kein 100% stabiler Betrieb.

für 2400MHz / 32M braucht mein IQYHA 1,675V. Einen run mit 2500MHz habe ich noch nicht geschafft. Dass die 2007er so abschneiden, habe ich schon erwartet. Vom 2004er IQYHA habe ich mehr erwartet.

Ja, da hast du recht. Nr1 und Nr2 entsprechen in etwa meinem alten XP-M 2600+. Von daher alles gut. Ein Fehlkauf ist es nicht. Nr4 darf demnächst mein MSI antreiben. Bei den anderen bin ich mir noch nicht sicher.

Max heat in prime. Still not 100% stable.
I guess it is more like 1,725V/ 2400MHz to be stable.

Hm, looks like your luck wasn't as good as mine. At least all your cpus are working. I got to test my "good" cpu further, but so far it looks pretty good. I expect it to scale up to about 2600Mhz, but not much further.

Um ehrlich zu sein, war ich auch etwas enttäuscht. Geht aber in Ordnung. Viel mehr bringt mir sowieso nichts. Ich bin durch die Luftkühlung limitiert. Bei 2500MHz / 1,80V wird es knapp. Ab da bekomme ich es kaum gekühlt.
Ich bin gespannt, wie weit ich die 32M Zeit jetzt runter gedrückt bekomme.

I almost never do a Prime 95 Test, did you use this or WPrime? I sometimes use WPrime 1024, but I don’t want to heat them up to much. They are getting older...

I only used prime95 for few minutes. I wouldn't use it for a long time. Prime heats up the CPU very much.

24/7? Ne... screen/valid? Ja, klar. Hier mal ein beispiel, kühler war ein thermalright si-128 se. Raumtemp waren 15c.
Die cpu macht 2.5ghz 32m bei 1.95v unter wasser bei raumtemp oder alternativ 2.4ghz 1.825v 24/7. und trotzdem konnte ich 2.7ghz+ validieren...
