Grundsätzlich sind alle LGA1155 Sandy-Bridge CPUs kompatibel zum ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe. Wer jedoch seinen Prozzi möglichst weit übertakten möchte,
der kommt an einem Modell mit dem Zusatz "K" im Namen nicht vorbei. Denn auschliesslich diese lassen einen höheren "Turbomulti" zu. Modelle ohne "K"
besitzen einen festen maximalen "Turbomulti" und sind daher für OC ungeeignet, da der Referenztakt nur von 100MHz auf maximal 105-110MHz
erhöht werden kann (kommt sonst zu Instabilitäten!).

Wenn Du diese Anzeige nicht sehen willst, registriere Dich und/oder logge Dich ein.
Ich habe das ASUS P8Z77-V jetzt auch erworben mit einem Intel 3570K zusammen. Hat vielleicht einer kurz eine Info wo man überall im BIOS was einstellen muss zum übertakten. Mit dem Multi und VCore ist es wohl nicht getan oder? Wüsste nur gerne wie ich 4,5 - 4,7 Ghz raus hole und mit welchen Einstellungen Ihr diese Werte erzielt.
 
Am besten wäre es, die Funktionen die du nicht verstehst, zu googlen. Faustregel ist idR immer die Spannungen zu fixen und nicht über gewisse Grenzen hinauszugehen mit der VCore. Dafür gibt es eigentlich genug Tutorials. Aber ich würde mich an deiner Stelle nicht auf ein Ergebnis jenseits der 4,5GHz einstellen, eher weniger. Selbst mit WaKü ist ein Ivy in dem Bereich schon ziemlich warm und angesichts deiner Frage gehe ich mal von einer Luftkühlung oder maximal einer AIO Wakü aus. Aber selbst im Standardtakt reicht die CPU eigentlich für nahezu alles aus... ;)

Es gibt nicht "den" Intel-Treiber (gemeint sind vermutlich der/die AHCI- bzw. RAID-Treiber), sondern sehr viele verschiedene Versionen mit verschiedenen Treibermodellen (mit und ohne SCSI-Filtertreiber), die auch recht unterschiedlich in der Performance sind. Insofern sind Eure Aussagen nicht sehr hilfreich.

Das schon, aber wenn man einen praktisch unveränderlichen Standard AHCI-Treiber eines MS-Betriebssystems mit einem fast monatlich in neuer Version erscheinenden AHCI-Treiber des Chipsatz-Herstellers Intel vergleicht, sollte man die Version des Intel-Treibers erwähnen, mit der man den Vergleich durchgeführt hat.

Mit dem von mir gemoddeten BIOS kannst Du nichts anfangen, weil ich nur ein "einfaches" P8Z77-V Mainboard habe und die DELUXE-Variante ein anderes BIOS benötigt.
Natürlich könnte ich alle möglichen BIOSe hinsichtlich der PCI ROM-Module aktualisieren, aber weil mir dafür die Zeit fehlt, habe ich eine entsprechende Anleitung geschrieben und >hier< veröffentlicht. Die neuesten Option ROMs für SATA AHCI und RAID Controller kannst Du >hier< finden.

Sind bei diesen Komponenten irgendwelche Probleme bekannt?

Ich habe seit einigen Tagen ein P8Z77-v und habe so meine Probleme. Was ich im Bios(aktuell) einstelle, wird zum Teil nicht umgesetzt. Die Multiplikatoren-Einstellungen werden nicht übernommen. Im Bios werden dieses zwar wie eingestellt angezeigt aber beim verlassen nicht angewendet. Ich hatte seit einigen Tagen bei meinem i5 3570K einen Multi von 41 eingestellt, den ich nicht mehr verändern konnte. Erst ein Cmos Reset half hier. Dann konnte ich diesen nicht mehr hochstellen. Nach stundenlangen fummeln, habe ich entdeckt, dass nur im Asus-Turbo-Modus aus dem Startbildschirm des Bios, die Einstellungen des Multiplikator übernommen werden.
Was übersehe ich denn hier?
 
So, mein Asus ist auch drin, läuft soweit super.

Aber laut CPU-Z läuft mein 3570k mit max. 3,6 statt 3,8 GHZ.
Mit dem alten Gigabyte Board waren es immer 3,8.

Was muss ich denn im Bios Einstellen damit er wieder auf 3,8 kommt wenn er gefordert wird?
 
Schau mal auf was der max. Multiplikator steht. Glaub steht im UEFI (Advance Mode) im ersten Reiter wo auch der Speichertakt verstellt wird.
 
Also bei "Target Turbo Speed...." Steht 3800 MHZ
Beim Multiplikator ist "Auto" eingetragen.
Lasse ich ihn auf Auto geht er bis 36.

Nun habe ich ihn manuell auf 38 gesetzt und nun geht es.

Muss man den Wert manuell ersetzen?
 
Ich betreibe meinen i5-3570 mit 4 x 3800 Mhz.
Folgendes habe ich manuell eingestellt:

- CPU-Voltage = 1,055
- BCLK = 100.1 (sonst XMP)
- C1E unter Erweitert = Aktiviert statt Auto

Die Core-Temps halten sich in Grenzen, max. 60°C bei 4x100%.

aber ist es normal das die CPU ohne Veränderungen im Bios nur bis 3600 MHZ hochgetaktet wird obwohl ja dort als Target Turbo.... 3800 MHZ steht?

Ich hatte Bios Verion 0401 drauf und habe es nun erstmal auf 0605 geflasht.
Aber auch dort geht er nur bis 3600 MHZ hoch.
Den Multi habe ich nun manuell auf 38 gesetzt.

Aber normal kann das doch nicht sein?

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....

Wenn alle 4 Kerne beansprucht werden ist der Takt max 3600 Mhz. Bei 1/2 Kernen geht er bis 3800 Mhz.
 
Hm... aber warum ging der Takt mit dem Gigabyte Board mit H61 Chipsatz bei Prime95 laut CPU-Z auf 3800 (Multiplikator 38)
und mit dem Asus Board mit Z77 Chipsatz, auch wieder mit Prime 95 auf 3600?
(Möchte es nur verstehen...)

Oki dok, danke euch!
Möchte nur ausschließen das das Board nicht ok ist.
Dieses Verhalten kenne ich so vom Gigabye Board nicht.

Aber wenns so ok ist, bin ich zufrieden :)

Klasse Board soweit... bin sehr zufrieden.
