Das ist ja minimal! Wenn jemand einmal mit ner M-Klasse aufs Gas geht, hustet der doch mehr CO² aus als diese 40 Strom-Euro (im Vergleich zu meinem A3 z. B.).Nur die CPU rechnen zu lassen, während ich arbeite/surfe würde im Jahr auch um die 40 EUR an Strom kosten und auch wieder einiges an CO2 verursachen.
Das meinte ich ja mit dem Vergleich: ich habe mit dem A3 genauso viel Fahrspass, nur die Karre sieht halt nicht so protzig aus. Dafür ist der so extrem sparsam, dass ich ihn auch bei sportlicher Fahrweise nicht über ca. 7,5 L/100 KM bringe. Daher ist der Nutzen von diesen Proll-SUVs für mich noch viel Spleeniger als a bissl F@H.@7even
Schon aber der M-Klasse Typ hat was davon, er fährt halt M-Klasse.
Mein Auto ist auch nicht das sparsamte aber wenn ich die Wahl hab, 25l Spritt extra zu verblasen (was den Fahrspaß für etwa 1500-200km deutlich steigert *ggg*) oder den Rechner rechnen zu lassen ohne dass ich mir/der Menschheit davon einen echten Nutzen verspreche, dann doch lieber Drehzahlbegrenzer

Wer sich dafür interessiert kann irgendwo die News dazu verfolgen .. ich hab nur am Rande mal vor ein paar Monaten mitbekommen dass durchs Folding irgendwas tolles entdeckt/simuliert wurde.Wenn sichergestellt wäre, dass die Falterei wirklich was bringt (medizinisch) dann sähe das natürlich anders aus.

Ich hatte in der Familie einige schwere Krankheitsfälle, welche lt. der Stanford Seite in das Forschungsgebiet fallen, daher bin ich gerne bereit hier meine Rechenleistung zur Verfügung zu stellen, um für diese Krankheiten zu vorschen.
Jo, genau so probiert, auch mit -forcegpu, aber keine Chance, hatte früher auch mal CF aktiviert, nur nen 2. Monitor will ich net kaufen nur um ihn anzuschließen und um beide GPUs unter Vista zu nutzen
Ich will wenn schon alles so lassen und trotzdem mit bieden GPUs folden...
Man baue sich einen Dummy-Plug und stöpselt ihn an die zweite Graka.
Man kann auch in Multi-GPU-Systemen mehrere verwenden.
Den Dummy-Plug, gibts auch für HDMI -> muss ich mal suchen, benötigt man nur für Vista. Bei XP funktioniert das Folden mit 2 oder mehr Karten auch ohne Dummy-Plug.

Habe meinen Q6600 zwar momentan auf 3,56 GHz, aber trotzdem. Meine 4250 PPD gegen deine 1133 PPD.
Wenn du mir noch 'ne Lösung zu meinem GPU-Client Problemen hättest, wär's echt genial. Weil die GPU bringt bei mir halt die größte Power.
Leider fehlt der wohl aufgrund des schwachen Prozessors wohl ein wenig der Dampf, kann das sein?
