Die aktuellen BIOS Versionen findet man entweder auf der jeweiligen Modellseite von Gigabyte oder in der Ultimativen AM4 UEFI/BIOS/AGESA Übersicht (15.11.19).

Ich hoffe auf rege Beteiligung. Es handelt sich um einen dynamischen Informationsprozess, der diesem Eingangspost auch erweitern soll. Deshalb bitte ich um Information, wenn bestimmte Informationen bereits in diesem Eingangspost erscheinen sollen.

FAQ:
1. BIOS Nomenklatur: Bei Gigabyte kann man anhand der Versionsnummer direkt erkennen, ob es sich um ein Release oder um eine Testversion handelt. Bei letzterer endet die Versionsnummer mit einem Buchstaben. (oNyX`)

2. meine NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD geht nicht
Das Problem läßt sich im Allgemeinen dadurch beheben, daß man dem Board explizit mitteilt, daß es PCIe 3.0 zu verwenden hat. Der Eintrag nennt sich "PCI Slot Configuration) und kann manuell auf Gen1 bis Gen4 sowie Auto gestellt werden. Bitte beachtet, daß die Systemweit gilt und so z.B. auch eine 5700 unter dem eingestellten Wert läuft.

3. Meine PCIe x1 Karte geht nicht
Das ist momentan noch ein Bug im BIOS. Vereinzelt kann es auch zu Bootproblemen führen. Momentan ist der einzige Workaround, die Karte zu entfernen

4. PBO funktioniert nicht
Auch dies ist ein Bug um BIOS. Er tritt seit BIOS F10A/AGESA 1.0.0.4 auf. Das BIOS liest hierbei die Boardwerte für EDC nicht aus und deaktiviert daraufhin den PBO-Boost. Man kann dies momentan umgehen, indem man den EDC-Wert explizit auf 0 setzt. Bei den AMD-Performance -> PBO Einstelllungen muß eine EDC von Null eingetragen werden.

5. Ich habe ein CMOS Clear durchgeführt, aber es werden weiterhin die alten Settings verwendet.
Bei einem CMOS Clear sollten eigentlich alle Einstellungen auf Default zurückgesetzt werden. Das passiert auch fast komplett. Jedoch bleiben die Einstellungen im AMD-Overclocking Menübereich komplett erhalten und werden nach Start des Systems auch verwendet. Man muß dort die Werte händisch löschen!

6. Seriennummer-Nomenklatur:
Man kann anhand der Seriennummer das Produktionsdatum des Boards ermitteln. Lautet die Seriennummer am Beginn z.B. SN1928xxxxxxxx besagen die Stellen 3&4 (19) das Produktionsjahr, die Stellen 5&6 hingegen die Produktionswoche. Das Board mit obiger Seriennummer wurde alsoo in der Woche 28 des Jahres 2019 produziert.

Ich bitte dabei zu berücksichtigen, daß in Deutschland die erste Kalenderwoche unterschiedlich zu den USA ermittelt wird.

7. Wem das Sägen des CPU-Kühlers auf den Nerv geht, kann diesen an die Leine nehmen. Bei oNyX` zeigten sich folgende Werte als besonders hilfreich
1. 27% default
2. 30% 60c
3. 50% 70c
4. 75% 75c
5. 100% 80c
Diese Werte können direkt im Bios oder via SIV eingetragen werden.

8. Ich möchte hier darauf hinweisen, daß das Schreiben von Werten im Ryzen Master mit größter Vorsicht zu genießen ist. Es werden z.B. bei RAM-Werten Dinge direkt in den AGESA Bereich geschrieben, der für Mainboardhersteller gesperrt ist. Es kann und kam dabei dazu kommen, daß das Board nicht mehr lauffähig ist. Hat man bereits Werte geschrieben, kann man mit der Prozedur:
- BIOS inkl. Agesa neu flashen
- BIOS Hardware-Reset
das Board wieder in einen lauffähigen Zustand versetzen. Dies ist aber nicht garantiert. Auf OCN musstem mehrere Nutzer ihr Board trotz der Prozedur zurücksenden. Diese Warnung betrifft mWn ALLE X570 Boards.

9. AMD hat für hwInfo festgelegt, daß das Interwall zum Auslesen der Werte alle 500ms erfolgen soll. Standardmäßig sind hier 2 Sekunden parametrisiert. Ich bitte dies bei Benchmarks etc. zu berücksichtigen

10. Sollte das BIOS bei der Nutzung von Tastatur und/oder Maus ruckeln, kann man im BIOS mit dem Tastaturkürzel "Strg-Alt-F6 " die Auflösung bis zum nächsten Reboot auf den VGA Modus limitieren. Dies sollte den Eingabe-Lag beheben.

Schon wieder ein neues Bios. Hab ja erst das F35b draufgehauen. Wird da eigentlich noch groß was geändert zum final F35. Mittlerweile gibts die 570er Boards schon so lang mit so vielen Bios Versionen das es ausgereift sein müsste.
 
Ab AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.3 B sollen alle USB-Probleme behoben sein, bin mal gespannt. Mein Front-Panel spinnt immer noch regelmäßig...
 
Mal schauen, wie schnell die nächsten Beta Versionen kommen und welche Dinge damit gefixt / verbessert werden sollen. Das ist für mich immer ein Indikator dafür, was bei der aktuellen Stable noch nicht rund läuft.

Nachdem F33 rausgehauen wurde, gab es quasi innerhalb eines Tages die erste Beta und dann relativ viele davon, inklusive neuer AGESA Version - deshalb bin ich nicht zur F33 gewechselt.
 
Ich hatte noch nie USB Probleme mit dem Aorus Ultra - also bleibe ich bei F33 bis sich ein Update wieder lohnt.
 
Das F33 läuft bei mir auf dem Elite bisher auch fehlerfrei.
 
Ich hab mit dem F35 Final auf dem Elite Mainboard, leider ab 3733MHz Ramtakt immer random Reboots :( Ich probiere seit Tagen alle VDDP/VDDG & SOC Spannungen durch, bisher hat nichts geholfen :(

mein X570 xtreme bootet seit gestern nicht mehr. Code 00. Dieser Code erscheint sofort und verändert sich nicht. Kein Bild. Main und Backup-Bios funktionieren nicht. Unverändert code 00. CMOS Reset half auch nicht. Über Nacht vom Strom nehmen auch nicht. Graka und Ram waren auch schon draußen.
Meine letzte Idee wäre ein BIOS über qflash plus oder hat jemand eine andere Idee? Muss für qflash Plus die CPU raus oder kann sie raus?

Im mom scheinen meine Reboots ENDLICH wegzusein, hab ein paar Tage gebraucht um die richtigen Settings zu finden, 1.148V SOC VDDP 900 und VDDG 950 scheint bei mir wohl endlich zu laufen.
 
Du meinst rein. Die kann raus, für qflash Plus brauchst du keine CPU.

Im mom scheinen meine Reboots ENDLICH wegzusein, hab ein paar Tage gebraucht um die richtigen Settings zu finden, 1.148V SOC VDDP 900 und VDDG 950 scheint bei mir wohl endlich zu laufen.
Nein ich meinte schon ob die raus muss um qflash plus zu nutzen.
 
Wenn nichts drin steht, kann man sowohl mit als auch ohne CPU flashen. As easy as that.
 
Es steht nicht nichts zu diesem Thema drin. Aber da du mir empfhiehlst, zu dieser Frage das Handbuch zu lesen, weißt du ja sicher genau, was zu diesem Thema im Handbuch steht, richtig?

Und wenn du wüsstest was da steht, wüsstest du auch, dass dort nicht die Antwort meiner Frage steht. Nämlich ob die cpu raus kann oder muss. Egal.

Da nun seit längerer Zeit keine neuen BETA Versionen für das Master erschienen sind, habe ich die Schlussfolgerung getroffen, dass es nicht mehr viel zu tun gibt auf Seiten AMD / Gigabyte und dass die aktuelle F34 Version eine gute Version ist und so habe ich gestern mal von F31o auf F34 aktualisiert.
Bis auf die nicht erkannte Grafikkarte beim Neustart direkt nach dem Update hat alles wunderbar funktioniert und es läuft.
Ich bilde mir ein, dass die Peak Temperaturen nicht mehr so hoch sind und damit auch die Peak Taktraten und Peak Voltage. Das macht am Ende von der Performance her keinen Unterschied, aber es erscheint mir gesünder für die CPU und eventuell auch stabiler (wobei ich nie Abstürze hatte).

Könnt ihr das bestätigen, dass zwischen F31 und F34 etwas mit den Peaks von Takt, Voltage und Temperaturen geändert wurde?
 
Ich habe gestern Abend von Ver 22 (oder so) nun auf 34 migriert. Ich vermisse da im ersten Moment das Sägezahlverhalten der Temperatur. Bei mir schnellte die von 39°C hoch auf 49°C hoch und danach baute sie sich wieder ab. Jetzt bleibt die Temp bei 44°C hängen.
 
Werde noch wahnsinnig ,....meine Haupt Speicher 1TB M.2 SSD PCI-e 3.0 weist Fehler auf. ...Datenverlust usw.:wall:

Hab mir jetzt eine neu WD Black SN850 1TB PCI-e 4.0 gekauft.

Die 4.0 macht nur Probleme .....ist das normal ?

Manchmal wird sie erkannt ...dann wieder nicht.

Das System hängt beim booten ...und und und.

Muss ich im Bios was extra einstellen für eine M.2 Pci-e 4.0 ,...gibt es noch was zu beachten oder so ?
 
Ich hab an meinem Master eine 1TB PCIe4.0 SSD. Eine 2TB PCIe 3.0 SSD im 3. Sockel. Im BIOS ist bei mir fast alles auf Auto. Die beiden laufen seit 10/2019 wie's Lottchen. Ich meine aber gelesen zu haben aber, daß das Spielen an diesen Vxxx Spannungen (Peripherie: VDGG,...) zu Problemen mit dem PCIe Bus führen, die gerade bei PCIe 4.0 besonders heftig zuschlagen. Irgendeine dieser Spannungen soll nicht unter 1V eingestellt werden.

Anscheinend ist die WD_BLACK SN850 1TB NVMe nicht kompatibel zum X570 Master.:confused:

Hab auch alle Treiber extra noch mal installiert usw.

Sogar der Versuch Win10pro nur auf der 1TB zu installieren hat nicht funktioniert . .....bis zum Desktop kam ich nicht .

Immer wieder Reboots beim installieren.


Heute kam eine Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 ....und alles funktioniert wie es sein soll .:drool:
 
Ich habe mir in 2019 eine Sabrent gekauft. Die rennt wie's Lottchen. Ich dachte immer, das sind die billigsten PCIe 4.0 SSD. Aber nö. Die kostet eine kleine Ecke mehr als die Western Digital. Sogar die Samsung liegt da noch 3 Euer drunter. Erstaunlich. Die Sabrent war ein Tip eines US Freunds.
 
Ende 2019 hatte ich mir eine PNY XLR8 CS3030 m.2 NVMe 1TB gekauft .....die hatte Anfang der Woche Probleme gemacht .

Das komische ist das sie ähnliche Probleme gemacht hat wie die WD Blacks .

Zwar nicht so krass aber ich hatte schon wichtige Daten verloren .

Keine Ahnung ,......sie sind wieder zurück zu Amazon .

Edit...die letzte ist noch nicht zurück. ( aber die wird schon so gut wie nicht mehr erkannt )

Ich habe eine WD 850 Black im ersten M2-Slot und sie läuft ohne Probleme mit voller Performance seit dem ersten Tag. Sowohl mit der ersten Firmware als auch der aktuellen.
