Wie kommst du drauf? Oben steht doch gesamtmenge 1GB, unten der Riegel #0 mit 512MB, Riegel #1 wird identisch aussehen, vermute ich.

Leider läuft Laut HW Info mein DD2 RAM 2x 512MB 400 nur mit 200MHz und im Single Channel

hier noch ein Hinweis aus dem MSI Forum zum Thema 865G und DUAL Channel, evtl reagiert auch dein Board entsprechend, weil ich in HWinfo sehe, dass du die IGPU benutzt

Since few people around here are using the 865G version of Neo2 board I think it would be useful to share my experiences with it.
I a previous thread core center and bios voltages someone mentioned that dual channel is disabled while using the on-board video. This is not completely accurate: no software utility is able to detect it but BIOS reports dual-channel, tiled mode. This is Intel?s implementation for 865G chipset, see http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/applnots/25303601.pdf.
In CPU-Z the Channel# field is empty and disabled, memtest86, AIDA and Sandra report one memory channel. A memory bandwidth benchmark with Sandra will produce a score of over 4000 MB/s, which is only possible with a dual-channel setup (correct me if I?m wrong :hypecrite. Moreover, the memory bandwidth varies with the resolution of the on-board video (makes sense).

Performance mode setting is not available in BIOS when the on-board video is being used, but it nicely appears when a video card is installed in the AGP slot. In this case the memory bandwidth goes up in 4900MB/s range and the boards acts like an 865PE one. So the answer is: Yes, you can have PAT/MAT with 865G Neo2, if you don?t use the on-board video :yes:.

Hope this info will help a few people (confused as I was ).

Danke Leute, okay, jetzt verstehe ich das mit dem Takt, habe mal in CPU-Z geschaut, auch da steht Single Channel.
Leider habe ich noch keine Grafikkarte um zu testen, aber das würde ich nachholen..
Ich finde leider nirgens 2x 1GB DDR 2 400 PC3200 RAM bei uns, ist der RAM damals schon Abwärtskompatibel gewesen?
Sprich, könnte ich z.b. DDR 2 400 6400 nehmen?

Leider nicht. DDR "1" und DDR2 sind nicht kompatibel. Ich hab aber genug liegen, könntest also von mir 2x 1GB haben.

Das hast Du falsch verstanden, ich meinte schon DDR 2 Speicher es geht eher um das PC3200 und PC 6400

Schau mal hier: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR-SDRAM Rechts der Vergleich zwischen DDR1, DDR2, DDR3 und DDR4. Das passt also untereinander nicht!

DDR1 Standard war PC-3200 / DDR-400 (200 MHz)
DDR2 Standard war PC2-6400 / DDR2-800 (400 MHz)

DDR1 ging maximal bis DDR-600, das waren PC-4800. Meines Wissens nach gab es dafür aber nur 256 und 512 MB DIMMs.

PC-6400 gab es bei DDR1 nicht! (Ein paar wenige Verrückte haben > 400 MHz (PC-6400) durch Übertakten erreicht.)

Ich hab halt deinen Sceenshot von vorhin noch im Kopf und da gehts ja um DDR "1".

Und natürlich, DDR2 ist untereinander kompatibel. Der Speichercontroller schaltet dann entweder einen Gang runter oder schärft die Latenzen, je nach SPD-Progammierung.
