Introduction
If there is one area of the PC component market which is rapidly changing it is SATA storage devices. Since the introduction of SSD’s at an affordable level less than a year ago the frequency of new models with updated capacities and specifications has been very high. This can be demonstrated by the fact that since we published our last roundup a few months back, all of the major manufacturers have released at least one completely new generation of drives, if not more.
