- Samsung 0.28% (against 0.05%)
- Intel 0.63% (against 0.37%)
- Kingston 1.00% (N / A)
- Corsair 1.88% (against 1.61%)
- Crucial 2.26% (against 1.12%)
- OCZ 2.27% (against 6.64%)
Samsung retains top spot even if the rate of return outstanding from the previous period is not maintained. Include Intel second place true to himself on the SSD, while Kingston made an entry in third place. The failure rate of Crucial double and pretty much OCZ left him in last place. OCZ failure rates fell sharply in favor of the disappearance of Petrol and Octane SATA 2 catalog, the manufacturer without these SSDs up 2.92% over the previous period.
Five models get return rates above 4%:
- 11.19% OCZ 128GB Vector
- 9.30% OCZ 256GB Vector
- 5.11% Crucial 64GB V4
- 4.92% Crucial M4 512GB
- 4.41% Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB
At the launch of Vector OCZ highlighted the work done prior to the launch to ensure a high level of reliability, it is a failure in these figures. Although the sample is small, although higher than the minimum of 100 pieces shown on page 1, the presence of both capacity valid a problem with the Vector. The firmware of the end of March seems to have corrected a lot of the problem but the rates are still higher than what you expect from a high-end SSD since they are already at 3.65 and 3.45%.
