Hier mal eine Roadmap was die nächsten Wochen passiert


1. Wipe
As we're moving toward Foundation Release ( which most likely will be at same time we'll launch game on Steam ) we'll do a wipe - most likely this weekend. You'll get back all GC you bought as part of the packages, you'll also get some extra free GC as our thank you for being early players. Most likely you'll have all in game characters unlocked for - once again - our present to you guys! We also thinking about giving our some "zombie survival kits" - set of items necessary to start over surviving in a zombie world.

2. New way of buying game. New packages
As we've said before - we want our early adopters to feel special - so we decided that we'll stop selling Survivor, Pioneer packages ( Legend's sales are over for good now, with about 500 or so keys are still available at retail Gamestop locations around USA ). Instead we'll offer number of "unnamed" packages that doesn't offer any recognition ingame, or doesn't unlock any characters from the start, etc. Only difference between packages will be the amount of GC you get.

3. New Antihack
New antihack is coming. I think it'll happen around mid-end of December - new system is relying on analyzing players patterns and reacting upon them. It's pretty complex system running on separate server, and we hope it will let us to replace existing system - that still most of the time ( is wallhack or ESP is used ) rely on humans to ban cheaters - which can take day or two. Once again - we'll become slightly more secure in our never ending fight with hackers.

4. Steam release
Okay this one is simple - game will become available on Steam. We also exploring ways for existing users to link game to their Steam accounts - nothing to report there yet, but we're working on this.


5. GC Sale
Yes you'll be able to buy GC after wipe!


6. New features roadmap.
Okay this one will be more like "wishlist" - it's based on Hammerpoint's internal development plan, but as always something may come up - new hacks, other things that will slow us down. So please take this more like a guidelines, not hard promises:

Foundation Release ( December 2012 )
- Clans
- Friends
- Leaderboards
- Server rentals
- New set of building blocks ( aka barricades and USABLE objects like hydroponics systems )
- Call for help functionality
- Accessing your inventory from Safe Settlement without loging out of the game
- Accessing Store from Safe Settlement without loging out of the game
- .22 cal guns - rifles, pistols
- More cool melee weapons
- Better use of ballistic helmets, armor vests.
- Flare guns ( okay we had it for a while, but just didn't released it to you guys yet )
- Better weight system
- Option to turn on crosshairs in TPS


Still December 2012, but maybe moved to January '13
- "Safe" or "Locker" items - allows you to safely store items anywhere on the map ( think of DayZ's tents, but working properly ). Two types - one with 4-5 digits PIN lock, other with no lock at all
- Map adjustments - even more walkable places - mountains, hills, some tweaks on textures, more enterable buildings, more stuff, new types of trees, etc. Lighting tweaks.
- New characters
- New survival items ( energy tonics to replenish Stamina, meds, etc )
- Tear Gas ( yes this is why you'll want gas masks )
- More civilian weapons

January-February 2013
- 5-6 stronghold maps to be added to the game
- Driveable Vehicles
- Melee fist fights
- Player defined missions !


March 2013
- Better Medic system
- Potentially ( okay POTENTIALLY is a keyword ) - weapons crafting

June - August 2013
- New Map ! One that will be probably 4 times bigger than current Colorado map
- 5-6 more stronghold maps

Klingt alles nicht schlecht. Nur ich würde gerne mal mehr über die Skilltrees, NPCs, Aufträge usw erfahren.

Hört sich ganz gut an, RPG Elemente fehlen trozdem noch. Ansonsten bleibts beim goßen Deathmatch. :P
 
Hört sich ja alles nicht schlecht an, aber die Entwicklungsgeschwindigkeit lässt schon zu wünschen übrig. Ab jetzt ca. 1 halbes Jahr für ne neue Map ? Im ernst jetzt? Wie gross ist den das Team?
 
Patch Notes 28.11.2012:
Creating clans no longer takes GC to create. To create a clan you must have 20hrs of played time. Once you create a clan you will have 20 slots and an additional 20 slots will cost 700GC.
Cleaned up some clan error messages
Fixed lag in the UI from going to the Community Tab
Improved the profanity filter
New females now have the appropriate female sounds

bekommst wenigstens dein Geld zurück Hacky? Wenn nicht jetzt dann wenigstens nach dem Wipe :)

Edit: für weitere 20 Solts benötigen wir insgesamt 700 GC, für 40 Slots 1400. 552 haben wir....bitte spendet eure GCs, die werden beim wipe eh resettet :)

Surivor, Pioneer ( and Legend ) packages are retiring this weekend

This weekend we're going to retire all early purchase options - i.e. you won't be able to purchase Survivor, Pioneer or Legend packages.

There'll be new purchase options for new users, but they will not provide early players recognition status (i.e. forum badges, character unlocks, etc.).

The reason we're doing this is simple - we want to make sure that people who supported us in the beginning will always standout from the crowd. We're modifying our Leaderboards UI to include your account badge - so naturally only people who bought the Survivor, Pioneer or Legend package will have that icon displayed there. New accounts will not have special badges.

We're going to give something special to our existing players as well. On wipe we'll give you $5 to $10 (depending on your package type) worth of GC (as well as resetting the GC that came with your pioneer or legend package), and we'll unlock all characters that are available in the game at launch.

We're discussing right now other ways to reward our early players. So - more good stuff will be coming your way at wipe/release.

Das Thema Wipe scheint an diesem WE ernst zu sein und alle Alpha Teilnehmer bekommen, neben dem RESET ihrer GC noch weitere GCs im Wert von 5 - 10$, je nach Spieltyp, dazu.

finde ich gut, dass so auch die eigentlich ohne GC ausgestatteten Survivor doch gratis zu etwas ingamewährung kommen - ist eine nette geste von denen und tut ja auch keinem weh :)

wir müssen uns übrigens dann eine lösung einfallen lassen, wie wir das mit den slots handhaben wollen - ich würde vorschlagen, da alle bisherigen spieler ohnehin wieder zu ingame-GC kommen werden, dass beim joinen jeder 100 - 200 GC donated (was bei der momentanen anzahl von ca. 15 aktiven leuten) zu mindestens 40 - 80 weiteren slots führen würde - da wir bei 15 leuten maximal 75 slots brauchen (15 x 5 chars) wäre ich für einen einstandsbetrag von 140 GC für jeden, da wir damit genau auf 80 slots kommen, ohne das jemand unnötig investieren muss (15*140 = 2.100/700 = 3*20 = 60+20 = 80, falls jemand nicht selber rechnen möchte ;)) somit blieben am ende sogar noch 5 slots für notfälle über :)

Erst einmal müssen wir rausfinden wer dieser SILAZX ist und dann sollte dieser die Erstellungsrechte an Hacky zurückgeben, da er die ja ausversehen weitergegeben hat. Danach muss Hacky schauen ob er anderen Leuten Rechte erteilen darf, die sich dann mit um die Aufnahme der Mitglieder kümmern können. Es wäre doof wenn das alles an Hacky hängen bleibt und wenn jeder seine 5 Chars da aufnehmen lassen will sind garantiert 1-2 Chars nur Müll und Lootchars die regelmäßig gelöscht werden und wieder aufgenommen werden wollen ;)

Also SILAZX bitte melde dich! :)
 
hm - ich habe jetzt mal spasseshalber das forum durchsucht - außer aus den vier posts hier, finde ich nirgends einen bezug zu silazx - im besten fall ist das irgend einer, der bei allen möglichen clans joinen wollte und nun die rechte hat und wir werden ihn nie wieder sehen ;)

mal im ernst - wessen char auch immer SilazX heißt, möge sich doch bitte hier melden!
 
Wäre natürlich doof, wenn das irgendwer ist, der jetzt alle Rechte hat und dazu noch die gespendeten GCs.
 
Notfalls müssen wir den clan neu machen aber ich bilde mir ein mal mit ihm gespielt zu haben, lange her .... :fresse:
 
Meine GC bekomme ich nicht wieder, dafür ist der Wipe ja da.. Ich kann denn Clan auch leider nicht ausbauen denke mal das geht nur als "Gründer"

Ich hab ja die Hoffnung das es Nitro oder Benni ist.... waren beide schon einige Tage nicht mehr on.. Ich würde sagen jeder bekommt mit einem Main-char dir Rechte aufzunehmen dann hat man es auch schön übersichtlich wieviel Accounts drinn sind..
 
Der Wipe ist jetzt sicher kommendes Wochenende? Ich werde dann, wenn noch Platz ist zumindest mal mit einem Char beitreten. Sollten die Namen der Chars an den Account gebunden sein, werden ich mit Michelle Obrama beitreten.
 
Du trittst mit dem Namen des chars bei.

Zwei Quellen aus dem warz Forum deuten auf dieses Wochenende, wobei noch kein tag genannt wurde!?
