Liegt meist an M2 oder SATA Laufwerke... einfach mal alle Laufwerke abklemmen und das neue BIOS initialisieren lassen und die Laufwerke wieder anklemmen oder an einer alten Firmware :)

@ JZ, hab kein ASROCK Board aber finde deine Arbeit in den Foren echt klasse, so sollte es sein.
 
Hi zusammen

Ich habe eben mal das N19 Bios 1.0.0.4 probiert.....Am Gigabyte X 570 Master.

Doll...……..Speicher nicht mal auf 3200 mhz bekommen. Und das mit meinen 3800 Mhz Einstellungen. boostet auch nicht besser als das 7C bios.

Also bisher völliger Reinfall.

so ist es und ist definitiv mit ein Grund warum ich nach meinem (traurigen) Ausflug zu Asus mit dem CH7 beim nächsten Board wohl wieder zu Asrock zurückwechsle (die mir bei meinen alten Z77 Extreme 6 auch viele Jahre ausserhalb der Garantie noch sehr kundenfreundlich weitergeholfen haben und sowas bleibt einem einfach in Erinnerung.)
 
also mein neues asrock board B450 Pro4 flutscht! was mich nervt ist, dass asrock sagt sie empfehlen die neuen bios nur für neue 3000er prozis. das machen die anderen hersteller nicht
 
Würde ich ignorieren allein schon um vorbereitet auf die 3000er zu sein.
 
Naja,

zu wenig Platz im BIOS... abgespeckter Code für alle CPUs oder voller Code für 3000 CPU... andere Hersteller habe auch nur eine bestimmte Größe vom BIOS zur Verfügung, es sei denn, das Board hat schon ein 32 MB BIOS ;)

Nachtrag:

Das hat man damals bzw. auch noch heute noch Intel vorgeworfen. AMD hat Versprechungen gemacht und kann die doch nicht im vollem Umfang leisten ;)

Ein Sockel und für alle CPUs voll kompatibel zu sein :(

I have a B350 Gaming Plus (in use), an X470 Gaming Plus (both MSI but probably only 16MB Bios flash - oops) and a AsRock B450M-HDV. I haven't read the whole thread, but this kind of thing interests me, maybe one day I will read all 549 pages! I have just read the last 2 so far.

As someone with just a R7 1700 for now, I find this interesting. I am considering sticking to 1.0.0.6 final release bios until I upgrade to a 16 core processor (maybe 2 years down the road, unless my buying finger gets itchy).

Here are some questions if some of you are kind enough to answer. I am considering BIOS mod and will probably try this after November round of MSI 1.0.0.4b updates.

-Who is this Deart modding BIOSes? Does anyone have a link to this?
-What are the disadvantages of Ryzen motherboards which only contain 16MB of space for the BIOS files?
-Which manufacturer is generally providing the best VRMs for 4xx / 5xx series boards? Does this matter in the case I clock up a 16 core Ryzen in the future?
-Is the AIO cooler recommended or needed for the 16 core? Perhaps we will not know until 5th November release... I have currently Noctua NH-D15. I would rather keep it it was rather expensive!
-Are AMD still making improvements for 1700 and 2400G in the latest AGESA/PI updates? These are the two processors I currently own.
-Which of my boards (listed above) should I be using?
-Which make and tier of board(s) are providing the best BIOSes with no need for modification once updated? I have not used 2 of my boards so I can always resell them to make another choice here in London (hopefully).
-Any problems running dual and single rank configuration DDR4 Samsung B die together? I.E 4 slots of 8GB B die, 2 are currently single rank and 2 are dual rank. I forsee some compatability issues with this - and I could buy more Flare-X 3200 today as it happens on UK Ebay.

These are the two processors I currently own. --> Right now only ryzen 3000 is given priority, but some fix like m.2 detection are there for the board too. However: Dont flash the current abba versions with 1000 or 2000 cpus
-Which of my boards (listed above) should I be using? --> For a ryzen 3000? Maybe Crosschek Bullzoid on Youtube which got the best vrm.

erstes Fazit:

BIOS ist nach meinem Empfinden schon sehr viel ausgereifter. RAM scheint bei mir jetzt deutlich besser taktbar. Der Bootvorgang wird schneller, wenn man RAM-OC betreibt. Das Boottraining wird weiterhin durchgeführt. Aber stellenweise wird das sehr viel schneller durchgeführt. Beim Chipsatzlüfter wird unter der Einstellung ,,quiet" nun angehalten.

Each setting is working different. It could run out of the box, maybe need manual settings or in the worst case it won't boot.
 
Hallo Community,

bin neu hier im Thread und hab gerade meinen neuen Rechner zusammengebaut. Läuft, alle Komponenten erkannt.

Hab den 3900X auf dem MB Asus X570 Gaming-E mit ner GF RTX 2070 Super und 2 M.2 SSD´s mit 650 Watt DarkPowerPro im Einsatz.

Nun die Frage: BIOS Version ist die 1005

Also gleich mal updaten denk ich mir. Welche Version würdet Ihr empfehlen ?
Die off. Version der HP 1201 AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA oder sollte ich gleich Version 1304 oder 1305 ( von ersten Post hier ) flashen ?

Die 130x sind nur Testversionen und laufen unter Umständen nicht stabil. Würde dir empfehlen erst einmal nur auf 1201 upzudaten.

Habe mal mein Beitrag aus dem CB hier her kopiert.

Ist beim MSI B450M Mortar ein Fehler drin?

Bei der AGESA Version 1.0.0.3.A(BB) steht ein BIOS mit der Bezeichnung 7B89v21, aber diese Version ist doch für das MSI B450M Mortar MAX. Die letzte Version mit nur Zahlen am Ende ist die Version 7B89v19.

Es fehlt wirklich mal ein Thread wo auf die ganzen Einstellmöglichkeiten im BIOS eingegangen wird. Ich hatte ja so was mal versucht, nach 12 Seiten hatte ich aufgegeben und alles gelöscht, da mir leider die Verbindungen zu den Herstellern fehlen um auch die Zusammenhängen der einzelnen Funktionen genau und vor allem auch für Laien verständlich beschreiben zu können. Vielleicht kann man so was mit Hilfe der Community auf die Beine stellen. Mal schauen ob bei meinem Backup noch die Urfassung drin ist. Da hatte ich nur mal die Bilder und die Einstellmöglichkeiten fertiggestellt, da fehlen dann noch die Erklärungen.

P.S. Die letzte Version mit der alten Oberfläche ist die 7B89v16, ab v17 gibt es das Lite BIOS.
 
Kleine Anmerkung zu den Gigabyte Versionen F10a:

Die Systeme booten meistens nicht, zu 95%, wenn PCIe-Adapter-Karten verwendet werden... Soundkarten usw.

Danke für den Hinweis, da hatte ich etwas durcheinander gewürfelt bei dem Mortar und Mortar MAX. Passt nun :)
