Die aktuellen BIOS Versionen findet man entweder auf der jeweiligen Modellseite von Gigabyte oder in der Ultimativen AM4 UEFI/BIOS/AGESA Übersicht (15.11.19).

Ich hoffe auf rege Beteiligung. Es handelt sich um einen dynamischen Informationsprozess, der diesem Eingangspost auch erweitern soll. Deshalb bitte ich um Information, wenn bestimmte Informationen bereits in diesem Eingangspost erscheinen sollen.

FAQ:
1. BIOS Nomenklatur: Bei Gigabyte kann man anhand der Versionsnummer direkt erkennen, ob es sich um ein Release oder um eine Testversion handelt. Bei letzterer endet die Versionsnummer mit einem Buchstaben. (oNyX`)

2. meine NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD geht nicht
Das Problem läßt sich im Allgemeinen dadurch beheben, daß man dem Board explizit mitteilt, daß es PCIe 3.0 zu verwenden hat. Der Eintrag nennt sich "PCI Slot Configuration) und kann manuell auf Gen1 bis Gen4 sowie Auto gestellt werden. Bitte beachtet, daß die Systemweit gilt und so z.B. auch eine 5700 unter dem eingestellten Wert läuft.

3. Meine PCIe x1 Karte geht nicht
Das ist momentan noch ein Bug im BIOS. Vereinzelt kann es auch zu Bootproblemen führen. Momentan ist der einzige Workaround, die Karte zu entfernen

4. PBO funktioniert nicht
Auch dies ist ein Bug um BIOS. Er tritt seit BIOS F10A/AGESA 1.0.0.4 auf. Das BIOS liest hierbei die Boardwerte für EDC nicht aus und deaktiviert daraufhin den PBO-Boost. Man kann dies momentan umgehen, indem man den EDC-Wert explizit auf 0 setzt. Bei den AMD-Performance -> PBO Einstelllungen muß eine EDC von Null eingetragen werden.

5. Ich habe ein CMOS Clear durchgeführt, aber es werden weiterhin die alten Settings verwendet.
Bei einem CMOS Clear sollten eigentlich alle Einstellungen auf Default zurückgesetzt werden. Das passiert auch fast komplett. Jedoch bleiben die Einstellungen im AMD-Overclocking Menübereich komplett erhalten und werden nach Start des Systems auch verwendet. Man muß dort die Werte händisch löschen!

6. Seriennummer-Nomenklatur:
Man kann anhand der Seriennummer das Produktionsdatum des Boards ermitteln. Lautet die Seriennummer am Beginn z.B. SN1928xxxxxxxx besagen die Stellen 3&4 (19) das Produktionsjahr, die Stellen 5&6 hingegen die Produktionswoche. Das Board mit obiger Seriennummer wurde alsoo in der Woche 28 des Jahres 2019 produziert.

Ich bitte dabei zu berücksichtigen, daß in Deutschland die erste Kalenderwoche unterschiedlich zu den USA ermittelt wird.

7. Wem das Sägen des CPU-Kühlers auf den Nerv geht, kann diesen an die Leine nehmen. Bei oNyX` zeigten sich folgende Werte als besonders hilfreich
1. 27% default
2. 30% 60c
3. 50% 70c
4. 75% 75c
5. 100% 80c
Diese Werte können direkt im Bios oder via SIV eingetragen werden.

8. Ich möchte hier darauf hinweisen, daß das Schreiben von Werten im Ryzen Master mit größter Vorsicht zu genießen ist. Es werden z.B. bei RAM-Werten Dinge direkt in den AGESA Bereich geschrieben, der für Mainboardhersteller gesperrt ist. Es kann und kam dabei dazu kommen, daß das Board nicht mehr lauffähig ist. Hat man bereits Werte geschrieben, kann man mit der Prozedur:
- BIOS inkl. Agesa neu flashen
- BIOS Hardware-Reset
das Board wieder in einen lauffähigen Zustand versetzen. Dies ist aber nicht garantiert. Auf OCN musstem mehrere Nutzer ihr Board trotz der Prozedur zurücksenden. Diese Warnung betrifft mWn ALLE X570 Boards.

9. AMD hat für hwInfo festgelegt, daß das Interwall zum Auslesen der Werte alle 500ms erfolgen soll. Standardmäßig sind hier 2 Sekunden parametrisiert. Ich bitte dies bei Benchmarks etc. zu berücksichtigen

10. Sollte das BIOS bei der Nutzung von Tastatur und/oder Maus ruckeln, kann man im BIOS mit dem Tastaturkürzel "Strg-Alt-F6 " die Auflösung bis zum nächsten Reboot auf den VGA Modus limitieren. Dies sollte den Eingabe-Lag beheben.

Habe das Aorus Pro Rev 1.0 und gestern auch mal den 31o drauf gemacht, dieser hat dann bei mir Audio Problem mit dem Steinberg UR22 verursacht, habe jetzt mal auf F30 zurück geflashed um zu schauen ob die weg sind oder es doch an der guten 5700 XT liegt die ich vor einigen Tagen wieder eingebaut habe.

Ich habe das MB X570 AORUS ULTRA gekauft und bekomme es nicht zum laufen.
Es dreht sich nur der CPU Lüfter aber es kommt kein Bild. Außerdem leuchtet die LED MEM auf dem MB.

Mein Sys:
MB: X570 AORUS ULTRA
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
RAM: 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX Predator DDR4 3000MHz

Was kann der Fehler sein bzw. was könnte ich noch ausprobieren?
 
Es scheint ja - speziell beim x570 Master aber auch bei anderen am4 GB Boards- gehäufte Probleme zu geben, dass das Board einfach nicht starten will manchmal.
Was auch Buildzoid in seinen kürzlichem Overview angesprochen hat.

Falls die Links schon weiter vorne geposted wurden - sorry for doublepost then. Bin halt grad drübergestolpert im Rahmen einer Fehlerbehebung und fand die Thematik zu interessant um es nicht anzusprechen.

Treiber OUT DATE und nicht von AMD empfohlen!
na, super, exakt aus dem grund hab ich's gemacht: win 10 treiber von 2008, amd von 2015 (oder '17), probleme mit "stutterings", die dem amd treiber nachgesagt werden, hatte ich gl.weise auch bisher hicht. hast du da einen weiterführenden link oder so, speziell zu der amd aussage vllt. sogar? :wink:

wg. plötzlich sterbender master boards: bitte nicht... da bleibt wohl nur abzuwarten. hab davon auch gelesen und trotzdem eines gekauft, die regel scheint es trotz allem ja nicht zu sein. häufig, aber nicht unbedingt regel. na, harren wir mal der dinge...

Es sollte doch mittlerweile bekannt sein, dass die Datumsangabe der Win10 Treiber bewusst auf 2006 gesetzt ist. Die Treiber Version zeigt jedoch auf, dass sie regelmäßig angepasst werden.

An die Xterme Besitzer: Kann mir jemand die Belegung der Frontpanel Extension geben und evtl. ein Foto der Mainboardseite des Kabel schießen? Habe meins Bulk gekauft und so wie es aussieht ist das nirgends nachzukaufen -.-
 
@Doenereater frag mal @The Professor, er hatte das selbe problem (hoffe, meine erinnerung ist korrekt und er war auch derjenige...).

um diese treiber zB hab ich mich zuletzt zu meinen intel zeiten 2011 oder sowas gekümmert, kann schon sein dass das bekannt sein sollte :d mir nicht, thx dafür dann mal ;) :wink:
edit: das mit dem treiberdatum von ms scheint ja sogar 'nen 'ernsthaften' grund und system zu haben :d okidoki, again what learned :fresse:

Ich hab folgendes Problem, ich nutze ein Ryzen 5900x und ein x570 Aorus Pro mit DDR 3600 und habe eine Idle Stromaufnahme (gemessen an der Steckdose) von 85-90 Watt. Cpu läuft mit korrekter Stromaufnahme. Stelle ich im Bios das XMP Profil auf aus habe ich ca 20 Watt weniger.
 
Zeig mal deine Werte vom ryzen timing tool, oder ryzen master, wo die ganzen Spannungen stehen

Nein, weder via Gigabyte direkt, noch mit ner Mail an zubehoer@gigabyte -.- Bin gerade am zusammensuchen was für Stecker das ist und plane mal das selber zu bauen. Echt traurig!
 
Danke für dein Engagement! Ich habe jetzt nochmal an beide Seiten eine "böse" Mail bezüglich UVP des Boards und Ersatzteilsituation geschrieben - zudem der Verweis, dass hier @The Professor schon eine Anfrage gestellt hatte, wo ihm das Ersatzteil angeboten wurde. Telefonisch erreichbar ist da seit gestern keiner - immer wieder mit der Ansage, dass sie ab morgen 9:00 nach einer Schulung wieder erreichbar sind.

Wenns soweit ist, bräuchte ich die Belegung vom Stecker - also Durchgang von Pin zu Pin. Das Ding spreaded ja von 10 Pins Boardseitig auf 17 Pins auf, wobei ich 7 x + für Power Switch, Reset, HDD LED, Power LED, Case open, Speaker und einen weiteren Power LED zähle - der rest sollte entweder Masse oder spezielle Adern für irgend ein Signal zum Board zurück sein. Z.B. Power und Reset zurück zum Board und eine Masse gemeinsam für die LEDs und Speaker....

Ich habe das Teil mal ausgebaut, kann aber auch nur bestätigen was du schon weißt bzw. was deine Bilder zeigen.
Man bräuchte jetzt ein Messgerät um zu messen, welcher Pin wo ankommt und welcher mehrmals ankommt. Das habe ich leider nicht.
 
Ahhh, bittere Pille :d Ja ich hoffe jetzt echt, dass die Gigabyte Leute das auf die Kette bekommen... Ansonsten muss ich selbst am Board direkt mitm Multimeter ran und die einzelnen Pins ausmessen, was bei der Rasterbreite schon echt eklig wird... Ich denke Power LED, Power Switch und Reset sollte ich aber mit einem Kabel auf Masse schnell finden können.
 
Gut, die wichtigsten Sachen habe ich schon rausgemessen :d

Der Oberhalb von PowerLED ist vermutlich der - davon.
Die restlichen 3 Pins sind vermutlich für Case Open + und Speaker +/- ?!

Power, Reset und Case Open Aschlüsse nutzen alle normale Masse, die LEDs und der Speaker eine "spezielle", welche einen keinen niederohmigen Durchgang zur Masse hat.

Vielleicht hilfts ja mal jemanden... :d

Update 16.12:
Gigabyte Support aus Hamburg hat sich nochmal gemeldet: Sie bestellen mir das Ersatzteil, jedoch dauert das 3 Wochen und da soll ich mich nochmal melden :) Immerhin

Also mit dem F31 Final, geht bei mir nichts über 3666 :cry:(n) (hab soviele SoC und VDDP/G Werte probiert)
 
Ist es schlechter als F31o oder "gleich"?
 
Ich fahre bis jetzt mit dem F31l am besten - IF2000, keine Reboots - ich glaube nur die USB 2.0 Ports sind instabil - nutze aber die 3.0 Ports
 
Eine möglichkeit wäre:
msconfig->Start->Erweiterte Optionen..->Prozessoranzahl
da sollte kein haken drinn sein.

Ich noch mal, der mit dem 5950x und nur 8 Kernen.
Da das Teil ja eh nur rumgezickt hat und plötzlich nur noch 8 statt 16 Kerne hatte, hatte ich die CPU zur rma geschickt.
Mindfactory hat sie getestet und erstezt. Ich habe jetzt eine neue. Eingebaut. Wieder 8 Kerne. Daraufhin folgte ich deinem Rat @Chris1975 und guckte in msconfig. Dort war tatsächlich ein Häkchen an der Stelle. (auch wenn 16 Kerne ausgewählt waren) Häkchen raus. Jetzt sind es 16 Kerne. :rolleyes2:
Mal gucken ob das Teil besser läuft.

Also F31o und F31 waren auf dem X570 Xtreme identisch, hab da keinen Unterschied feststellen können. Musste jetzt aber auf der Downloadseite feststellen, dass sie das F31 final noch immer nicht veröffentlicht haben. Da steht tatsächlich immer noch das F31o. Nächste UEFI-Update gibts bei mir erst wieder mit Agesa 1.1.8.0 (F32?).

Stecker vorerst selbst gebaut/gelötet - funktioniert :)

Habe ich gerade im test....läuft ebenso wie das F31 das wieder von der Gigabyte Seite entfernt wurde.


Ram auf 3800 läuft weiterhin....

F31q läuft auch, Ram von 3800 auf 3866 mit Auto Timings gestellt.....harter Bios reset...ok...also lieber nicht. Bleibe bei 3800.

Zumindest klingt das Feedback bei Tweaktown seit F31p ganz gut, vorher kamen ja immer recht schnell Fehlermeldungen.
Mal gucken, ob es die Tage noch was wird mit der Final, wenn man nur XMP einstellt und ansonsten nicht overclocked, kann man sich die Betas ja eigentlich sparen.
Den USB-Bug loszuwerden wäre allerdings schon ganz nice...
