Musst dich in 5mV Schritten hintasten.
#7 & #11 sind Voltage (CPU side) issues.
#0 link dropout. Definitiv ein VDDQ & ODT Problem.
Mit 1.25 SA könnte dein aktuelles Preset funktionieren
Ansonsten 1.3v SA und 1.4v VDDQ_CPU
EDIT:
Very leaky sample.V/F Curve im Anhang
Hallo @Veii
Komme nicht weiter bei 8400 M/T.
Hardware:
RAM = F5-8000J4048F24GX2-TZ5RS (SS) Single Sided, 1.35V@8000 MHz, VDD/VDDQ.
CPU = 14900KS, P-Core SP = 115, E-Core SP = 77, MC SP = 85.
Board = z790 Apex Encore, Bios 1202
5 runs MC SP = 85 / 84 / 85 / 85 / 85
IVR TX = 1.345V
SA = 1.284V
MC = 1.41625V
VDD MEM = 1.52V
VDDQ MEM = 1.45V
Hey hey,Hi @Veii ,
Long time... How are you?
How did curve look by default on your side
One could hope they did something, but sub 1.5 are only "great" samples.It's not the best sample ever, but the 56X and 59X VID is nice which means it can do 58X on the same Vcore where my KF could do 57X, but this one with E cores at 46X and R50X.
110mV delta on 1.205 SA VIDSo, my current setting is above. This is where the things will get funny again.
MVDD: 1.56V
MVDDDQ: 1.43V
CVDDQ: 1.32V
VDD2: 1.493V
SA: 1.20V
With that low SA, yess.SA is working on 1.12V too, but Y throws error within 25 minutes, it was a lot of time to figure this out that was causing me a lot of issues. Then it was MVDDQ, which was too high on 1.47V, so had to reduce it.
We need another check hahaUsual settings dialed in in training config, RON is 48-40 / 40-48
Lets seeeEdit.:
Seems like this foundation will be good for higher speeds too:
I have no limiters ATM. default MCE settings dialed.Which speaking of @tibcsi0407
You're on what limiters right now ?
Curve tuning is nice to see, its important but what VRMAX as peak and what ICCMAX ?
I was thinking on it too. Now 8533 went until 35 minutes, which is not bad, RON could be an issue.We need another check haha
40-34 vs 48-40
MC-Links come from the CPU out, through BoardPCB. To verify, but seems like
This CPU has no SA bug at all. ☺️Well wouldnt be needed if substrate can hold it, but it was too strong for it.
Its ok on higher SA
At least something 🤭This CPU has no SA bug at all. ☺️
It's not my money, at least not directly. ☺️ Buying it to my company, it's good for the business. ☺️At least something :P
Yea i saw KS, thought ~ you really love spending money.
Didnt want to phrase it like thatIt's not my money, at least not directly. ☺️ Buying it to my company, it's good for the business. ☺️
I was hoping it can do at least the same speed what my KF was able to do. Seems like it can, but it acts like a b*tch sometimes.
Those XOCer's are really into binning, but I agree with you, 8600 should work. I will try the Teamgroups again who knows. ☺️Didnt want to phrase it like that
But we are again at 8533 and 8600 cap
Gotta step up our game, if 8600 should ever become reality without RX-DFE.
8800-9000 XOCer are laughing already~~
Yea you might actually want to check if you hardcrash CB15Extreme with 1600 VR MAX
Should be fine with your curve, but i wonder.
xoc'er is a different world. They don't test 90 minutes or longer y cruncher. There is the motto, "only the bench should run".8800-9000 XOCer are laughing already~~
Agreed. I saw Y on 8800 from 3 guys only. I believe only Jori3br used HT on during the test.xoc'er is a different world. They don't test 90 minutes or longer y cruncher. There is the motto, "only the bench should run".
24/7 totally stable setting is another category in my eyes. They all have beauty, but they are not in one category.
Next week I will borrow a 2x24Gb kit. I will have a few days to do it, I trust that I will be able to do something better.
OK, I'll try it as a starting point.2X24 kit? That's interesting! Use my foundation for start.
2x24 kits have similar behaviour until one point. 8200C36 is similar, 8400C36 needs more voltage. At least my KLEVV kit could do 8400C36 from 1,45V.OK, I'll try it as a starting point.
User Ubi bought a 2x24Gb kit. He also has a white Apex, only 13900k.
So far he had 2x16Gb kits. I sent him my 8000c36 cmo I use, you'll laugh, it's completely stable with him too.
Y Cruncher is also the complete rtt's, odt's, etc. with my values.
He just bought a 2x24Gb kit now, but he doesn't understand or care about it all. Give it to me, I'll make a new cmo for him.
I don't have much hope, but I'll try.
Oh, yeah. I won't go back to the Hungarian forum anymore, after being called a fool and a "cheater"...
Here you have it.Didnt want to phrase it like that

Hi @Veii@Hwlux50 just copy that foundation for 8400.
But i still wait from you to give y-cruncher data, with set limiters in place
