"Yes, they have closed the official LG U.S. Community Forum. The announcement for this came about 2 weeks in advance (if I remember correctly) and it said that they would be moving support to the LG Facebook page.
In my opinion, a very unfortunate decision. In particular, that they have completely shut down the forum instead of at least putting it in a "read only" mode. So all the old and open posts just got lost."

I thought about moving all that stuff over to their new Facebook support page but I dismissed it for various reasons:
- I deleted my Facebook account a long time ago
- I don't approve of Facebook support pages because it forces people into using FB.
- I hadn't gotten ANY response at all in all that time from anyone official (certainly not for lack of trying). Not a single word.

Kein Guter Move von LG ihre Anlaufstelle für Nutzer nach Facebook zu verlegen wo mitlerweile ja eigentlich alle von weg wollen und ihr Forum dicht zu machen.
Und sone Facebook Geschichte ist wesentlich unübersichtlicher als ein Richtiges Forum.
Wie ich eingangs sagte .. LG tut der Community grade keinen Gefallen damit.
