Hello,
I am from Germany and a proud owner of the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv TG.
I have a problem with the Power-LED and Status-LED on the case. It worked fine, I needed to change my PSU and reconnected everything. Now my Power-LED and Status-LED only cycle through blue-green colors without any red hues.
If I connect the Phanteks LED-Strip it also suffers from the same issue, because it’s connected with the case cables (which are marked for the LED-Strip). If I connect the Phanteks LED-Strip directly to the motherboard, it works just fine with every color.
Maybe you can help me.
Best regards
I couldn’t track down what’s causing the problem. I don’t think that the red LEDs are dead, cause the LED-Strip suffers the same issue, when connected to the case strip connector, so the “broken” signal goes over to the LED-Strip. But the LED-Strip works fine, when connected directly to the motherboard.
I can’t check the Power-LED this way, cause it’s only powered by the SATA-cable. So the problem seems to be the cable or the whole connection. Power-Button itself works, only the LED around it doesn’t light up in red hues, only blue-green.
It would be a massive struggle to RMA the case, only because of this little problem. It is unfortunate for me, but maybe we can find another solution.
I send you my purchase invoice with this e-mail. From the URL below you can see the shipping details.
