Sehr häufig wird von Problemen mit Nvidia 6 Chipsatz + Vista geschrieben, nur ein Treiberproblem das ganze?
Does NOT work with ""native command queuing"" on nvidia chipset mainboards - the problem IS supposedly in the nvidia driver, though it's a known issue they've STILL not addressed. For all of you having lockup issues on this drive under XP or Vista, go into Device manager, and under the SATA controller uncheck the box ""enable command queuing"" - it will tell you to reboot, after which the drive works fine... Though slightly slower if you were planning on using it as a server - for games and media it can in fact be faster to run with that setting off. (Not that you should be using winblows for a server ANYWAYS) Mind you, this can be hard to do if you are trying to boot from this drive, which is why I would not recommend this drive as a primary on a nForce chipset mainboard.

Better yet, the "old" nForde driver works fine! Just install 15.01 (WHQL), it contains v9.92 IDE driver. Make sure your BIOS is set to "IDE" mode and not to "AHCI". Speed does not differ. This solved my problems!
