Den ein oder anderen Riegel habe ich sicherlich hier liegen, aber ob da überhaupt TCCD drauf sind, keine Ahnung. Ich suche ja auch mal hin und wieder danach. Meinen G.Skill GBLA trauer ich sehr hinterher.

One of hour cats decided to throw the vase to the ground… behind the television. The only place with more expensive equipment then in the pc room.

Edit: I run different timings and now 1 dimm will boot 380MHz C3.
Edit 2: Corsair XL 256MB dimm, still testing all others with these timings.

I tested today and did not go beyond 394MHz. I hoped to go over 400MHz but this seems impossible.
I will post my settings soon and hope some of you have better tccd for c3.

Good job! I am limited by hardware. I was able to get a screeny at 320MHz (3-4-4-10 / 2,83V) with my 512MB XL1.2 dimm. That's far away from your result.
In the end, I'm actually glad that my S478 system is even getting this far ...

Cool! Da sparksnl CorsairXL hier benutzt hat, wären hier andere Riegel von Vorteil, damit das Ergebnis zählt.
Bei Zeitaufwand gebe ich dir recht. Der TeamCup läuft noch 48 Tage. Zeit ist also durchaus noch da.

These were the timings I used, both booted C3 @390MHz.
TCCD 3 Idle time: I tested 04-256 which did not make a difference.
TCCD 3.1 seems a bit more stable.

I have 2 good running 4000+ cpu’s as well. I hope one of them runs well on cold.
CCBIE 0622 and KACAE 0544.
edit: not as good as this one, but still both running 3200-3250.

Answering here, so the DDR OC list doesn't go off topic too much .

The one I have should be a KAB1E 0626FPMW - didn't take a picture before setting up the system, but I think it was the same stepping gianni-gt had on one of his best ones.
A bit afraid however to hit a wall somewhere after 320HTT, but since my cooling is pretty basic (Arctic Freezer 64 Pro) and ambient temps are high, I didn't want to risk anything going crazy with the voltages.

Still getting used to working with an nf4 DFI again, it's been like 7 years since my last attempts with 939.
The Patriot DIMMs seem to post, boot and run 1M at 315 CL2.5, but they won't boot at 320, even at CL3, which seems weird, but maybe that is CPU related.
Setting the memory dividers and getting adequate readout in CPU-Z is a bit of a hassle, which is why I ran most my tests at 1:1 and x10 multiplier but I'm slowly adjusting to it again.

I know one of the cpu’s I have at least runs 320MHz HTT, but I never tested them for max speed.
I noticed C3 is not that much faster in MHz then C2.5. Even when running 394MHz C3, I know the same dimm can at least do 355MHz. C2.5. I think it still runs 36xMHz.
You can always run a different mem divider. That would give more room.

Have you tried adjusting drive strength, data drive strength and dqs skew rate? Afaik DS 7 works best for tccd and DS 8 for winbond.

i‘ve had success in the past with the settings in the 2nd half of the bios menu, especially when it comes to stability.

KAB1E 0626 FPMW ist eines der besten Steppings für Sockel 939. Das kam zwar recht spät raus, hat aber auch bei den 3700+ für übermäßigen Erfolg gereicht. 0547 GPMW war das andere legendäre OC-Stepping.

Leider aber alles was KAB1E usw. Coldbug verseucht. (Zumindest alles, was an 3. Stelle ein B und an 4. Stelle eine Zahl hat).

Changes to Auto or DS8 resulted in less stability, haven't tested lower ones yet.
The recommended subtimings in that guide are however pretty tight, like TRC and TRFC, I usually have to keep those a little looser.

You can always run a different mem divider. That would give more room.

Tried it today and after a little testing I was able to pass the 320 mark - 350 32M, I'm happy with that.

Das mit dem Coldbug ist natürlich doof, aber gut zu wissen, dass es wirklich zu den besten gehörte.
Es sollte ein zweiter 4000+ mit dem Stepping auf dem Weg zu mir sein, hoffentlich läuft er

Übrigens schaffen über 90% aller San Diegos 350 MHz Referenztakt und in Verbindung mit den DFI Boards kann da fast nichts schief gehen.

Ich habe auch noch so paar 0626FPMW hier liegen, ungetestet versteht sich

Meine bisherigen Bestwerte sind 450 und 464 MHz, allerdings beide Male mit Venice CPUs.
Deshalb hatte ich jetzt auch nicht erwartet, dass ich mir unter 400 groß Sorgen machen muss, aber es war dann wohl doch nicht ganz so selbstverständlich die 400 wieder zu reißen.

Mh, will ich, dass du die 0626 testest, um mich zu foltern oder freu ich mich lieber einfach, dass ich mal ne gute CPU habe

Gibt es irgendwo eine Liste, welches alle die guten Steppings und Produktionsdaten sind? Von den beiden genannten kann ich weder in meiner Sammlung noch bei eBay einen erhaschen. Auf jeden Fall habe ich einen 3700+ liegen, der nichtmal 300 MHz Referenztakt schafft.
