This is a reconstruction of the 1977 theatrical version of STAR WARS. The original shots were painstakingly restored using various sources (listed below) and the film received an extensive shot by shot colour correction based on a fade free 1977 I.B. Technicolor Print.
The remastered version represents a significant improvement in picture quality over the earlier version.
The audio options include all three 1977 mixes; the original 70mm six-track was recreated by hairy_hen, the original stereo mix was captured from LaserDisc and the original mono mix was restored by Belbucus. Also included are two isolated score tracks, (by Belbucus and Editdroid) a commentary track from the 1993 LD release and a British commentary for visually impaired.
An assortment of foreign audio and subtitle options (listed below) is also a part of this release.

This is a cut which is very close to the theatrical version of TESB except for some of the cleaned up VFX (a list of changes with picture comparisons and explanations of how the shots were despecialized can be found here. It is also available as a Powerpoint presentation here - if you don't have PowerPoint, you can download PP viewer here for free).

3) Ady's theatrical reconstruction DVD and some higher quality shots from it that he kindly provided for me.
I did an extensive colour correction based on colour boosted GOUT and though the colours may not make everyone happy, I really like them now.

I did an extensive shot by shot colour correction and although the colours may not be 100% perfect, I'm really quite satisfied with them.
Cabin in the Woods: 6.5/10
Mal was neues, und sehr clever umgesetzt.
