Hi everyone,
I have some really wired Problems with my new DFI Board. Yesterday i hold it finally in hands.3 days after ordering it. I informed me well of this Board. Everywhere i read about it, they liked it. So i bought it. Its my second DFI Board in lifetime.
So now to the Problem:
It wont boot as normal. Have to try it a couple of times. I always get a 88 87 or 86 error on the Diagnostic LED...well that sucks. But if it boot then it runs rockstable. But this happens if im Lucky 1/50 Trys. I cant OC my CPU and ram, if i do i end up with an blank screen if i reboot. On my mainboard i had before my c2d runs stable @ 3.6ghz with an FSB of 400. My RAM runs @ 1000Mhz and stable too. On the DFI Board i can only select 266Mhz FSB and hope that the Mainboard will boot. In my windows i have problems with my mouse (mx 1000). Ends up with "Hardware could not be initialized." Same with the SCSI/RAID Controller. On both i Select manually the drivers. SCSI/RAID seems to work fine. But with my MX100 i can only select "Standard Human HID Interface" (or whatever) and i cant use all the buttons (u can set them up in logitech normally, i dong see this dialog). I have a g15 keyboard too, that works well. Dont get this >_< And yes i installed chipset drivers. (More than once...)
It also dont boot if u reset the Bios, I can only hope that it will work or not. Sometimes it helps if i change the rams from one row to the oter or from 2 rams up to 1 or from Dualchannel in Singelchannel mode with both rams.
Further i made some interesting discovery. When i tried to boot and get the 88 error i remove the IDE HDD then it boots normal. (happend one time) So i thought the Mobo has problems with my IDE Drive. But it doesnt matter if its on the IDE Controller or not. The Sys is running right now with the IDE HDD. I also wrote to DFI. Hope i get an answer soon. But in this time maybe you have some guess what i shall do now? Or had you similar Problems?
My Sys:
Intel C2D e6600
Kingston Value Select (667mhz) 2*1024mb (now in dualchannel mode)
g8800Ultra
2*WD SATA II 250gb hdds in Stripe0 (Ports 3-4)
Samsung SATA II DVD Burner (Port 2)
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 530Watt
Hope someone can help me, im very disapointed of DFI, was an expensive Board for me. Would be sad if i had to give it back.
Thanks
Canni
Nein tut es nicht. Probier bitte ein anderes Netzteil.
2. Versuch das DVD-Laufwerk mal am JMicro-SATA Anschluss
4. Welches BIOS ist geflasht?
Nimm das Corsair
